Hashirama Senju was the First Hokage, and certainly one of the most renowned ninjas in the world. Known as the God of Shinobi, Hashirama changed the ninja world forever during his era and established a world order that continues to this day.
7 Beat Kakuzu
Hashirama Senju fought against Kakuzu, who later went on to join the Akatsuki at one point in the story. While this battle wasn't explicitly shown to the fans, what was made clear is that Kakuzu escaped barely alive. Beating someone like Kakuzu, whom Kakashi struggled against, is certainly impressive. However, for a Shinobi of Hashirama's caliber, this must have been one of the easiest battles that he has ever fought.
Still, the fact that Hashirama was not able to kill him meant that the battle might have been somewhat more testing than fans might assume. This makes it one of his most impressive feats.
6 Became The Leader Of The Senju Clan
Hashirama became the Senju clan leader at a very young age. After fighting against the Uchiha on many occasions, Hashirama eventually rose to the top and he did so in order to establish an era of peace.
Hashirama, despite fighting against the Uchiha, did not want to spill more blood, especially that of children. Despite his ideologies, rising to the top through sheer strength and perseverance is quite an achievement.
5 Subdued Kurama
In his battle against Madara Uchiha, Hashirama was actually up against two powerful foes. One of them was Madara himself, and the other was Kurama. This was a brilliant battle, and Hashirama actually took out Kurama very early into it.
After breaking through Madara’s Susanoo, Hashirama used the power of his Wood Release to subdue the Nine Tails and snap it out of the Uchiha’s control. This beast was later sealed within Mito Uzumaki, his wife. Subduing a tailed Beast as powerful as Kurama is certainly quite an achievement.
4 Beat Madara Uchiha
Hashirama and Madara fought many battles and it is safe to say that all of them were incredibly close. In their final battle, which is the most iconic of all, Hashirama eventually emerged on top.
There was not much of a difference in terms of strength between the two, and Hashirama was only able to strike down Madara because he did not expect him to strike him in the back. Still, the victor of the battle was Hashirama, and that goes without saying.
3 Became The First Hokage
After the establishment of Konoha, Hashirama ended up becoming the First Hokage of the village. Becoming the very first leader of this magnificent village is certainly quite an achievement and he had his name written in the history books because of this.
In truth, however, Hashirama becoming the Hokage created all sorts of problems. Madara and Hashirama had internal problems because of this, and the former even had arguments with his fellow Uchiha. Eventually, this led to Madara leaving the village and attacking it later down the line, which is what gave rise to their final battle at the Valley of the End.
2 Laid The Foundation For Ninja Villages
Hashirama Senju was responsible for the creation of Konoha, along with Madara Uchiha, and while that is a great achievement in itself, an even bigger achievement is the fact that it is because of his creation of Konoha that the Shinobi villages in different countries came to exist. All of them were inspired by Konoha and the Land of Fire, and they built their villages after this model.

Essentially, had it not been for Hashirama, shinobi villages in the world of Naruto would not exist right now. That is one of the biggest achievements, if not the biggest, that Hashirama Senju can be very proud of. Without him, the ninja world would be very different right now.

1 Created Konoha With Madara
Undoubtedly, the biggest achievement of Hashirama is the creation of Konoha, which is the most important village in the entirety of Naruto. Ever since Hashirama and Madara were kids, they dreamed of creating a country of peace, where children wouldn't have to fight to the death and spill blood. While this dream was once naive, the fact that they grew tremendously powerful actually made it possible for them to achieve this.
Eventually, after settling their differences, Hashirama and Madara joined hands and created Konoha. The name for this village was chosen by Madara, but Hashirama was just as instrumental. Knowing the importance of this village in the series, fans can easily see why this was his biggest achievement in his entire life.
