Highlights include Kiba showing the abilities he wields with his dog, Rock Lee showing the power he wields with taijutsu alone, Neji's ability to use his Byakugan powers, and Sasuke showing off the power of his Chidori against Gaara right before the Konoha Crush begins.

Characters like Choji and Shikamaru get to shine, the Sand Siblings redeem themselves as valuable allies, Kimimaro shows off his nightmarish Kekkei Genkai, and Naruto & Sasuke duke it out in a battle for the ages. As one would expect, several amazing jutsu are shown in this arc, including various powerful transformations enabled by Orochimaru's Curse Mark and Naruto's Kyuubi chakra.

However, the highlight of this arc is undoubtedly the reveal of the Rasenshuriken, with Naruto using this technique to obliterate Kakuzu and his hearts in one fell swoop. It showed just how far Naruto had come, developing a unique jutsu with earth-shattering power.

However, Naruto and Sasuke also received buffs of their own after meeting the Sage of the Six Paths, with Naruto using multiple forms of the Rasengan while Sasuke showed mastery over techniques like Chibaku Tensei and Amenotejikara.

However, most people remember this arc for the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke, which is in a class of its own. Both shinobi put it all on the line in an incredible battle, where their two strongest jutsu — Indra's Arrow and Six Paths: Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken — collide in an earth-shattering clash, only for the duo to resort to beating each other up after their chakra had run out.
