Netflix has revealed in on its social media accounts. Unfortunately, it seems the movie will only be available in select regions, and not worldwide. Read on to learn all we know about this Netflix release.

My Hero Academia: You're Next Release Date on Netflix
Netflix has just announced that My Hero Academia: You're Next, the latest movie in the franchise, will be released on the service on April 20, 2025. It will be available in the US, Canada and "more regions".
While the post doesn't mention which regions these are, we can speculate that this is part of a licensing deal made with Sony/Crunchyroll, and thus they will probably add the movie in places where Crunchyroll operates, like Latin America, Europe, India, Australia, New Zealand and so (the movie will not necessarily be added to all the territories mentioned here).
It is likely that the movie will be added with dubs in a few languages. What's interesting here is that Crunchyroll hasn't added it to their own service yet.
You're Next was released in Japan in August 2024, with mostly positive reception. It then hit theaters in the US and Canada in October, subbed and dubbed in English.
Unfortunately, there is no information if A Piece of Cake, a prequel OVA that was bundled with the DVD/BD release in Japan, will also be added to the service. The movie is already a vailable for rental and/or purchase digitally, but this OVA hasn't made its way to international audiences yet, so it seems unlikely.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Is Now Streaming
The news comes at a great time, since My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, a canon spin-off set a few years before the main series, is now airing on Japanese TV and international streaming platforms.
MHA: Vigilantes debuted earlier this week, and new episodes are out on Mondays if no sudden changes take place. They are added to Crunchyroll following the Japanese schedule, subbed and dubbed in many languages.
In October 2025, the long-awaited final season of My Hero Academia will be released, finally bringing the anime series to an end (although some fans didn't like how the manga ended).
My Hero Academia main series is available to stream on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in many languages.
