Since they aren't technically heroes, the vigilantes don't exactly need to dress to impress, allowing them to wear something that feeds into their personality and persona. With that being said, the series' original villains have also become well-known for their memorable looks, but when lining them all up, who in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has the best design of the bunch?

8 Jube Namimaru

Jube's Unusual Appearance Seems To Be A Humorous Reference To A Legendary Manga Protagonist

First Appearance: Chapter 3

It's pretty clear that Jube, the side-character who shows up to help Koichi and Pop every so often, is heavily inspired by Jotaro Kujo from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. While one example of this is the long black trench coat, the biggest giveaway is his school cap, which seems to be blending in with his hair. There are also some small hints of Wolverine thrown in there for good measure, especially with those spiky sideburns. With that being said, though, Jube's design is still unique enough to ensure he feels like his own character.

Jube's face is like an art canvas, with the plucky young student throwing out all kinds of weird and whacky expressions that make him an extremely fun character to follow. He may not play a super important role in the story, but Jube is still very memorable because of his creative appearance.

When Kuin is first introduced in the series, she comes across as a kind and innocent schoolgirl, but it's not long before she reveals her true identity as a mischievous part-time villain. As a way to reference this, Kuina's design mixes these two sides, with her always wearing a traditional school outfit while also having an eye patch and a devilish grin that is more in line with the villainous part of her character.

While Kuina's hairstyle may initially seem like a random fashion statement, it's actually relevant to her character since it helps to obscure the bees that reside within her left eye. Kuina's design may not be as over the top as many of the other villains in My Hero Academia, but it still excels at giving off a very shady and sinister vibe that perfectly describes her.

6 Number Six

It's Hard Not To Get Creeped Out By Six's Sinister Appearance

Number Six is one of the most powerful characters in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, and it all comes from his Quirk, Overclock. As someone who sees himself as greatly superior to those around him, considering he can literally kill a person in less than a second with his acceleration ability, Six almost always has a terrifying look of murderous glee on his face.

The maniacal villain also tends to wear a very minimalistic suit, which allows him to move around at absurd speeds without losing any mobility. There's always something that feels just a little off about Number Six's design to let fans know that he's a man who has more than a few screws loose, presenting him as a genuinely terrifying antagonist for Koichi and the others to take on.

5 Oboro Shirakumo

Though Oboro is mentioned in the main series, it's in Vigilantes where fans are able to learn more about Aizawa's childhood friend. As a fun-loving and carefree hero who loved nothing more than gliding around the open skies with his Cloud Quirk, it makes sense why Oboro has such an outgoing appearance, especially his big puffy blue hair, which makes him instantly recognizable.

For fans who know what eventually ends up happening to Oboro, seeing him look so hopeful and determined all the time ends up making his character feel even more sympathetic, which is a testament to how effective his overall design is. He's much more stylish than Aizawa could ever be.

4 Koichi Haimawari

Koichi Gets A Little More Experimental With His Outfit Compared To Deku

When Koichi is sliding around the streets looking for the latest villain to take down, he will always disguise his identity with his All Might hoodie, which, according to him, greatly increases his power and speed. The costume itself is quite a looker, featuring a medley of bright colors that make it a real stand out, despite the fact Koichi is technically wearing it in order to keep his identity hidden, not to draw attention.

However, the young vigilante also throws in some other extra additions, such as a black mask to cover his mouth, alongside a pair of glossy sunglasses in case he ever finds himself moving just a bit too fast. Small details like these help to enhance the overall visual style of Koichi's outfit while also referencing his creativity and DIY skills.

3 Captain Celebrity

America's Number One Hero Always Makes Sure To Look His Best In Front Of The Cameras

Despite being the top hero of the United States when he appears in Vigilantes, Captain Celebrity isn't exactly the most reliable hero out there - initially, at least. In fact, all this smug superhero cares about is looking good for the cameras, which is why he's always dressed to the nines in snazzy gear so that everyone can admire the hero in all his glory.

Aside from his long, flowing golden hair, the most notable aspect of Celebrity's design is the giant silver shoulder pads, making it look like he's entering a war, even if, in reality, he's helping a cat escape out of a tree. The same can be said for the cape, which makes Celebrity look like a larger-than-life savior who is practically begging people to admire him.

2 Pop-Step

Pop-Step Rocks A Bubbly And Colorful Outfit That Is As Flashy As They Come

Admittedly, Pop Step's appearance changes a lot throughout the series, considering she's always changing outfits when she's not on the job, but by far her most iconic attire is her bright and poppy suit. When dressing up for a show, Pop fashions her bright pink hair into two large pigtails, which provide a nice color contrast to her darker bodysuit, fitted with two small vampire wings to compliment her Leap Quirk, which allows her to fly high in the sky for all her adoring fans.

Pop manages to jump out of the screen every time she shows up, and it's because her design is so colorful and vibrant, making her a joy to watch in action. It's no surprise that Pop Step has become a common inspiration for cosplays.

1 Knuckleduster

Knuckleduster's Rough-Around-The-Edges Appearance Makes It Clear He's Not A Hero

There's a lot to love about Knuckleduster's badass appearance, but at the core of what makes it so cool is how it visually represents the idea of a vigilante. Knuckleduster doesn't wear some fancy armored suit or helmet to shield his face. Instead, when he's patrolling the streets, he prefers to throw on a long green trench coat, a black durag, and, of course, his lucky dusters.

At first glance, Knuckleduster can look like more of a villain than a hero, but this is why his opponents are always filled with fear just from laying eyes on him. There's also plenty of small and subtle details in his design that emphasize some of his key characteristics, such as the bits of stubble on his chin showcasing that he's a little older and also more on the lazier side when it comes to getting himself ready. Nonetheless, though, Knuckleduster's design is one that stands out for how much it says about the character and its memorability within the series itself.
