My Hero Academia fans have a lot to look forward to this year. Although the manga ended last year, there are plenty My Hero Academia anime news coming out this year: the final season and My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime adaptation!
Despite being highly divisive, the finale brought new momentum to the series and even more attention. The author, Kohei Horikoshi, should also announce a new series soon. While the original manga concluded, there are many spin-offs still in serialization.

New My Hero Academia Collab With Tokyo Skytree
Since January 8, the series has been collaborating with a popular sightseeing spot in Japan, the Tokyo Skytree – the Skytree is the tallest building in the country, and also the tallest tower in the world.
The partnership includes a special five-minute screening of the franchse on the observation deck and limited-time menu items at a café (Floor 350), and also a thematic photo service and exclusive merchandise at Skytree Shop (Floor 445). More information can be found on the official Skytree website.
On Saturday nights, there are special light-up runs in the tower that last until midnight. Also, fans can collect exclusive bromide illustrations by buying special tickets. Each ticket includes one of the six illustrations.
Preparation for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
The collaboration is set to end on April 8, 2025, a day after My Hero Academia: Vigilantes premieres in Japan (and likely worldwide, on streaming platforms).
While the collaboration doesn't seem to feature any Vigilantes characters, it might be a way to keep the series in a hot spot as a way of marketing the franchise and the new anime. It is possible that the characters and menu will change as we get closer to the debut date.
My Hero Academia is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
