My Hero Academia Season 8 Will Be Amazing

  • My Hero Academia Season 8 will release in October 2025
  • MHA's Final Season will be a huge hit

For most anime watchers, Solo Leveling Season 2 was the biggest anime of 2025, especially since it shattered so many records in such a short time. When the anime was still airing, fans were rushing to see the new episodes to learn what happens next in Sung Jinwoo's adventure. The season had 13 episodes, and almost every single one of them was fun.

Despite Solo Leveling's success, it is not the biggest anime of 2025 because that title solely belongs to My Hero Academia Season 8. Based on Horikoshi Kohei's manga, it has become one of the most adored series in the world. My Hero Academia has sold more than 100 million copies, and it's only among the handful of manga series to do so. This feat alone makes it superior to Solo Leveling in terms of fame.

Shigaraki locking his lips

My Hero Academia manga ended in 2024, and for the first time in many years, a popular manga's conclusion was satisfactory. In comparison, Jujutsu Kaisen and Oshi no Ko (both ended in the same year) had extremely underwhelming endings. So, Horikoshi Kohei deserves a lot of praise for being able to bring things to a satisfactory halt.

My Hero Academia Season 8 is the final one, meaning it will be the last time that fans will get to see Midoriya Izuku and his friends in action. Midoriya has won over fans with kindness and intelligence, which is why they're so sad to see him go.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Is Still Not Announced

Solo Leveling Season 3 Will Happen

While My Hero Academia has beaten Solo Leveling for popularity, it doesn't mean that the latter is not good. In fact, Solo Leveling is one of the fastest-growing anime in the world. It is breaking records and setting new standards in the industry. Most anime fans agree that Solo Leveling Season 2 was full of incredible fights, and all of it was due to the hard work of A-1 Pictures.

Despite the success of the second season, Aniplex has yet to announce a third installment, which has baffled fans. It's likely that the announcement has been delayed because a proper production schedule has not been decided. Or, the studio is busy with other projects. Either way, Solo Leveling Season 3 is guaranteed to happen. Once the new season is confirmed, fans will want to know when it will be released. At the moment, all things point to a 2028 release, but it could change in the future.

Jinwoo meets Cha Hae-In - Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling's fame is at its peak, and currently almost every anime fan knows about it. But it's common knowledge that a series loses steam if the new season takes forever to release. Aniplex knows this, and the organization is aware that it cannot afford to make such a decision. So, it must try to release Solo Leveling Season 3 in the next two years. Keeping this in mind, it is possible that Solo Leveling Season 3 will be released in either late 2026 or early 2027.

Solo Leveling Season 3 is certainly going to be exciting, as it will once again put Sung Jinwoo in the midst of awesome fights. The hero bested many powerful individuals in Season 2, but the difficulty is only going to increase in the third season. The new season will also raise the curtains on many mysteries.
