This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia's Epilogue.
My Hero Academia manga concluded last year, and since then, fans have been patiently waiting for more content from Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the series. While the end of the manga serialization usually means the end of new content from the author, things have been somewhat different when it comes to My Hero Academia.

Kohei Horikoshi has consistently released new My Hero Academia content over the course of the last year or so, despite the end of the manga. This might seem somewhat confusing to some, but the fact is that Horikoshi has already revealed to the fans that My Hero Academia will continue even after the end of the manga. The author has no plans to put an official end to the franchise, and every now and then, there will be new content from the author for the fans that keeps the franchise alive.

The Manga Has Ended By My Hero Academia Will Not End Here
- My Hero Academia Will Continue To Get Bits From The Author
- The MHA Verse Continues With Vigilantes
My Hero Academia’s author, Kohei Horikoshi, has already made a big statement about the future of the franchise a while back. In the statement, Horikoshi officially confirms that My Hero Academia is not going to end completely even though the manga has ended. Every now and then, there will be something for the fans to enjoy, and over the last few months, that is exactly what the fans have observed.
This is the story of how we all became the greatest Heroes! — Izuku Midoriya
Over the last few months, My Hero Academia has received a new fanbook, a new art book, and even enjoyed a new Art Exhibition. A lot of new content was revealed by Horikoshi in the last few months. More than that, My Hero Academia has already received two new one-shot chapters after the conclusion of the manga, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see more of that. My Hero Academia Vigilantes is also going to continue, so the MHA world is expanding even further, just as Horikoshi stated.
His message can be read below:
My Hero Academia manga has ended. Thank you for cheering me on and reading the series all these years. And even if you weren't cheering me on but reading the manga anyway, I will always be forever grateful.
Since the manga serialization has indeed ended, I've grown to love these characters a lot more than I thought, and it gives me a sense of emptiness to know that the series is finished.
However, I have a ton of light-hearted illustrations and "shouto" (katakana for the word 'short) manga that I'm working on at the moment, and I've been spending blessed time doing that instead. Ah, by "shouto manga" I don't mean "Shouto Manga, aka Todoroki-kun manga," I mean actual short manga panels.
The anime also still has one more season left. When Season 1 aired, I honestly had no idea that it would run for this long. And we're going to have a Vigilantes anime too! I can't wait to cheer them on with the rest of you as well! Man, this message ended up looking like something I wrote in my schedule book.
I really want to look back at the series and share more thoughts about it, but I guess I'll plan to put it in the manga volumes for Vigilantes later.
Anyway, let's talk about future plans for the My Hero Academia series! In short, My Hero Academia will still continue! Deku and the others will always do their best for you all and for me too, so I hope you continue to support them from here on out! In times like these, please take care of yourselves and stay PLUS ULTRA!

What Horikoshi's Statement Means For The Future Of My Hero Academia
The World Of MHA Will Expand More
Horikoshi's statements are extremely good for My Hero Academia fans. Basically, the author himself went on to confirm that My Hero Academia, as a franchise, is not going to die. There is a ton of content left to explore, and the author himself will keep on adding content to the manga when he feels like it. Of course, the manga won't have a sequel, and the original story has effectively ended, but more one-shots and additional information from the author should be expected.
It must also be remembered that My Hero Academia can also get new movies. Horikoshi usually gets involved in the movies a lot, and there is no denying the fact that My Hero Academia has great potential for a bunch of phenomenal movies after the end of the manga, this time with more involvement from the author than ever before.
The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. When it comes to the anime, this series is still awaiting its final season, which will be released later this year. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
