This article contains spoilers from the My Hero Academia series.
My Hero Academia is finally edging closer to its end after a phenomenal run of episodes. While most fans of the anime are well aware of what comes next, the manga has already wrapped up around a year ago. My Hero Academia ends with the defeat of All For One, and the death of Shigaraki Tomura. At the same time, Horikoshi also made the ending bittersweet by having Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of the series, lose his greatest power, that is, the One For All. Losing the One For All was a devastating blow for both the fans and Izuku Midoriya, especially after knowing what lengths Izuku had to go to make the power his own and become worthy of it.
My Hero Academia: Kohei Horikoshi Confirms Shoto Todoroki's New Power Level
Shoto Todoroki was a major MHA character, and Horikoshi just revealed his power level as a Pro Hero.
The fact that all his friends went on to become Heroes made things even sadder for him, that is, until the major MHA timeskip. It's been confirmed that Izuku Midoriya has received new powers in My Hero Academia and he now wields the perfect power after One For All. Horikoshi already confirmed that Izuku Midoriya's new power isn't a new Quirk, but a copy of it. Through the power of science, a new Armor that replicates all the powers of the One For All Quirk has finally been created, and it is almost as if the power has been reproduced in unique ways.
Kohei Horikoshi Confirms Izuku Midoriya Has A Scientific Copy Of One For All
- Izuku received a hero armor
- The Armor can copy all One For All abilities
After the timeskip of My Hero Academia, which spanned over 8 years, fans finally saw Izuku Midoriya get what he deserved. Despite wanting to be a Hero, Izuku couldn't fulfill his heart's desire and that's because he was Quirkless. However, thanks to Bakugo and the other students of Class 1-A, and even All Might to an extent, Izuku Midoriya has a custom armor made for him. This new Armor was said to be much stronger than the one that All Might wore in the battle against One For All long ago.

By studying Izuku's fighting style and various abilities he used, this perfect armor was created for him. Fans didn't quite get to see what the armor was capable of. However, Kohei Horikoshi himself stepped in and stated that this armor is quite powerful. Horikoshi revealed himself that it mimics all the power of the One For All, and that includes the power of the vestiges, such as Blackwhip.
My Hero Academia: Kohei Horikoshi Officially Confirms Adult Bakugo's Power Level
Bakugo has reached new heights now as an adult and has reached the level of All Might in MHA.
It would only be logical to assume that it can do the same for powers like Smokescreen, Gearshift, Danger Sense, Float, and even Fa Jin. Most importantly, however, fans now know for a fact that Izuku's new armor is based around the idea of high-strength and high-speed boost. In simple words, it's the same as the One For All Quirk he lost, and that's what makes him special again.
Izuku's Armor Made Him The #4 Hero In Japan
With his new powers, Izuku Midoriya has now once again become an active hero. He still teaches at the U.A., but that doesn't stop him from fulfilling his duty as a Hero. Izuku Midoriya is still quite powerful, and he will continue to be one of the most important Heroes in My Hero Academia. Right now, in the latest rankings, Izuku is confirmed to have reached the #4 rank in Japan, which is higher than Bakugo.

Izuku's New Power In My Hero Academia Is The Same As One For All
All things considered, not much has changed for Izuku Midoriya in terms of what powers he holds. He had the One For All in the past, and now, he has a scientific armor version of the same ability, giving him the very same powers, and the exact same advantages in combat. Although he did have to wait for a long time to get access to these powers, the fact remains that Izuku's major powers are largely the same.
The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. My Hero Academia is also airing its final season, which will consist of 11 episodes in total. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
