This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia's Epilogue.
Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia continues to be popular among the fans even a year after the conclusion of the story. My Hero Academia wrapped up its main story after the conclusion of the Final War arc, which gave the fans an exciting battle between Izuku Midoriya and Shigaraki Tomura, who was eventually taken over by All For One.
My Hero Academia: Kohei Horikoshi's Alternate Ending For Bakugo Katsuki Has Emerged
Bakugo's ending was very different, but Horikoshi changed his mind for the MHA series.
As expected, Izuku won the battle and eventually went on to save the world, becoming a phenomenal hero in the process. However, at the same time, Izuku also went on to lose the power of the One For All. Fans often wonder how strong Pro Hero Izuku Midoriya is, and while he hasn't been seen going all out, Kohei Horikoshi has given the readers a good idea of what his power level is as a Pro Hero, years after the end of the war.
Izuku Midoriya's Power Level Is Comparable To Before According To Horikoshi
Izuku Midoriya Is The Number 4 Hero In Japan
- Izuku Lost The One For All Against Shigaraki
- He Gained A Hero Armor In Exchange
According to what Kohei Horikoshi has shown in the story so far, Izuku Midoriya is incredibly powerful even as an adult. He no longer has access to the power of the One For All Quirk, but his strength is still immense.
Stand proud, young Midoriya! You've earned this too. — All Might
This is largely for two reasons, the first of which is his immense physical prowess. Even though Izuku has lost access to One For All, his physical strength is still absolutely immense. That will never change, and given that he's still young, it'll only get better with time.
The second and most important reason for this is that Izuku Midoriya was gifted a Hero Armor similar to the one that All Might wore in the Final War of My Hero Academia. This suit, however, is much stronger as technology has come a long way since. According to Horikoshi himself, this hero armor mimics the powers of the One For All Quirk and even lets him combine different abilities together. That in itself makes Izuku a monstrously strong Pro Hero.
And now, in Number 4, the One For All Hero, Deku! — Horikoshi
My Hero Academia: Horikoshi Officially Reveals The Alternate Ending Of The Story
MHA almost ended very depressingly, as Horikoshi just revealed to fans.
Above all, the fact that Izuku is the Number 4 Pro Hero in My Hero Academia right now means that he is extremely overpowered still. What's more, he's actually pulled ahead of Bakugo Katsuki, who is stated to be equal to Mirio. For Izuku to get ahead of him means they must be comfortable and if they're comparable, he should well be among the strongest in the world.
Izuku Still Aims To Get Stronger In My Hero Academia
Deku Could Be The Number 1 In The Future
The fact is that technology still keeps improving with each passing day and Izuku will continue to grow stronger as well. Right now, he may be the Number 4 Hero, but eventually, he could go even higher. What's shocking is that Izuku rose to the position of Number 4 Hero in just a few months. This means he's climbing up the ladder rather quickly, and in the future, he is highly likely to get even higher.
Izuku always wanted to be like All Might, and that only means there's a good chance for him to get to the absolute top of the Japan rankings in the coming months. All fans need to do is sit back and patiently wait for Horikoshi to drop another onehsot.
The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. When it comes to the anime, this series is still awaiting its final season, which will be released later this year. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
