Fans of My Hero Academia were recently treated to yet another one-shot from the author, just like the first one, it also revealed some very exciting details about the Pro Heroes years after the conclusion of the series. Much to the surprise of the fans, Horikoshi also went on to reveal a Pro Hero that surpassed Deku, despite being nowhere close initially.

Deku Becomes The Number 4 Hero In MHA

  • He Took The Number 4 Rank Officially

As fans know, Deku's Hero life came to an abrupt end after the end of the Final War. He sacrificed the One For All, and in doing so, saved the world. More than that, Deku also went on to lose the embers of the Quirk, which were with him for a while, by the time he graduated. This meant that Deku couldn't be a Pro Hero, and all the dreams he worked towards were left unfulfilled. He still didn't give up and taught at U.A., where he made it his goal to help the upcoming generation of Heroes with his knowledge and experience.

This is the story of how we all became the greatest Heroes! — Izuku Midoriya

Thankfully, Horikoshi planned a big gift for Deku, the savior of the world, and revealed a Hero Armor specifically being made for him. With this armor, Deku was able to become a Hero again. According to Horikoshi, the Hero Armor that Deku uses can mimic the abilities of the One For All Quirk, and it can also allow him to combine various abilities, just as the One For All did. Here's what he had to say about it:

Question: How does the armor that Deku received from Class A function?

Horikoshi: It tries to mimic various OFA abilities, for example, it has cable extensions that function like his ability Black Whip. It also serves as a prototype where he can try to combine various abilities.

Thanks to all these powers, Deku has now become the Number 4 Hero, which means he ranks among the strongest in the world of My Hero Academia. This was confirmed by the author a while ago, and it makes all the fans happy.

Mt. Lady Ranks Among The Strongest Heroes Right Now

Mt. Lady Is A Very Powerful Hero

Although Deku is incredibly powerful, with abilities that are similar to the One For All, he still can't surpass Mt. Lady on the Hero Billboard Chart, who holds the Number 3 Hero rank. This is absolutely shocking for many fans, since nobody expected her to get this powerful and prominent in My Hero Academia. That said, Mt. Lady was only just starting her Hero career at the beginning of the series, so she most certainly wasn't at her best. It seems that she's fulfilled her potential and is now powerful enough to stand alongside Mirio and Shoto, along with Deku and Bakugo.
