When Will My Hero Academia End?

My Hero Academia’s story reaches its climax and will end soon.

Before that, however, readers should brace themselves for some high-intensity chapters with some of the most shocking turns, one of which was set up towards the end of the previous one.

Shigaraki's Growing Strength

My Hero Academia chapter 413 will most definitely focus on Shigaraki taking the upper hand in the battle. As seen in the previous chapter, Deku, despite being incredibly strong, was slowly fading out in terms of power. He launched a powerful assault on Shigaraki and made sure to deal deadly damage to him. Deku used a brilliant strategy to stop Shigaraki's Decay and he did so in quite some style, even blowing away one of his arms in the process. To counter the power of Danger Sense, he even managed to use Smoke Screen and utilized Gear Shift to make sure that it stayed on for longer. This was brilliant use of the tools that he was blessed with.

However, Shigaraki countered it with the power of Search, which fans know he has mastered by this point. For those who don't remember, Shigaraki got access to Search during the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, immediately after his surgery was completed. Search has been mastered by him at this point in the story, and, using this attack, he struck Deku from afar in the previous chapter.

Fans should expect Search to be an important part of My Hero Academia chapter 413 as well. Deku will try to throw everything that he has towards Shigaraki, and given that he has Danger Sense, the only strategy that the Future Number One Hero can employ is making use of Smoke Screen to create openings. That said, this technique was already proven to be inefficient in the previous chapter and it is highly likely going to continue that way in My Hero Academia chapter 413. If anything, fans should expect Shigaraki to ramp up the intensity of his attacks in the upcoming chapter and deal some deadly injuries to Deku, which would push him even further on the brink of collapse.

Deku's Weakening Body

My Hero Academia chapter 413 will most definitely focus on Deku and his weakening body. In the previous chapter, it was established that Gear Shift had finally run out. The after-effects of using Gear Shift are incredibly intense. Deku was seen being unable to breathe in the previous chapter and that in itself is quite a massive side effect already. Furthermore, there will be more downsides to the power that he used for quite a while in the battle, and they could be explored in the upcoming chapter, MHA chapter 413. Fans should remember that Deku will have to be weakened even further before he rises out on top in this battle and that is simply how Horikoshi often writes his fights.

This also serves to increase the intensity of the fights and raise the tension through the roof, which makes the payoff of the fight all the more sweet. Deku will most definitely win this fight, however, before things go his way, they have to go against him for quite a while and in that regard, My Hero Academia chapter 413 has a very important role to play.

The One For All Gone?

Deku vs shigaraki my hero academia 412

Towards the end of the previous chapter, fans got to see a very shocking plot point being tackled. As Deku started to weaken, the second user of the One For All suggested something incredibly bizarre. He had a plan in place for Deku to win over Shigaraki and this plan was only put forward by him after he accepted the fact that Deku was not going to give up on Shigaraki. Deku could potentially have killed him if he wanted, however, it is clear for the fans to see that this is something that he is willing to avoid at any cost.

As a result, all the vestiges of the One For All have to accept that and come to terms with the fact that they have to find a different strategy. That seems to be the exact thing that Kudo has done at this point and he mentioned his grand scheme at the end of the previous chapter of the series.

My Hero Academia chapter 413 could very well see Deku giving up the power of One For All. At the end of the last chapter, Kudo suggested that they should give up the One For All as this would, in some way, aid him and winning the battle against Shigaraki. This appears to be a very bizarre idea on the surface, however, fans expect the author to go more in detail when it comes to this plan in the upcoming chapter. This is definitely going to be the most exciting part of the chapter and one that has fans on the edge of their seats.

Giving away the power of the One For All would make Deku Quirkless once again. More importantly, it would also make Shigaraki the strongest in the entire world and completely unstoppable. It almost seems like suicide at this point, however, there must be an elaborate plan at play here that will in the end help Deku triumph.

What Next For Deku?

My Hero Academia chapter 413 is going to be absolutely massive for Deku. Right now, he is on the losing end of the battle, and he can't even sustain his weakening body for long. Furthermore, the plan that the second user of the One For All has for him seems to be suicidal as it would see him giving up the biggest source of power that he has up his sleeve. Deku is quite strong and there is absolutely no denying that fact, however, once he gives up his power, he will be just a regular person once again. He will have lost his Quirk and, just as he was at the beginning of the series, he will end up being Quirkless.

However, this also conflicts with what fans already know will happen in the future of the story. At the very beginning of My Hero Academia, Deku makes it very clear that he is the Number One Hero in the future. This means that Deku somehow still manages to maintain his level of strength, even if he gives up his Quirk somehow or, later down the line, he ends up receiving his Quirk back once again. How this is going to play out is interesting and fans simply have to sit back and watch what the author has in store for them.

My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 413, is set to be January 28, 2024.
