As far as the anime is concerned, My Hero Academia is ending officially after Season 8, which won't last long, given the content left to adapt. By all means, it looks like My Hero Academia is officially done, and fans will now have to turn their eyes to the up and coming great series, among which is the successor to MHA, Ichi the Witch.

Ichi The Witch Getting An Anime Adaptation Is Inevitable

Ichi The Witch Is Surpassing All Expectations

Fans who are avid readers of Jump probably know very well that Ichi the Witch is the next big thing. The series has enjoyed immaculate success already so far, and it only keeps getting better. Once it gets a great anime adaptation, Ichi the Witch will flourish, just like the best anime of the modern era, like My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. Ichi the Witch can be the next My Hero Academia, not because the settings are similar, but because of an incredibly exciting world that is based heavily on magic, just like My Hero Academia with its Quirks.

More than that, the similarities in the protagonists, both in terms of design and hidden genius cannot be denied. Ichi the Witch won't be getting an anime adaptation anytime soon, given that it's still on just 50 chapters. But, a year from now, an anime adaptation for it should be in discussion, and fans can rest assured that this series is more than worthy of carrying the mantle of My Hero Academia.

The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. When it comes to the anime, this series is still awaiting its final season, which will be released later this year. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
