This article contains spoilers from the My Hero Academia series.
My Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime series at the moment, and its final season, which has delivered tremendous quality, has played a major role in elevating it even further. Delivering great endings to stories is quite difficult, and many popular series, over the years, have given the fans divisive endings, bringing the overall opinion among the fans down.
Kohei Horikoshi Recommends The New My Hero Academia Replacement To Fans
MHA has a new replacement recommended by Horikoshi - and it might be Shonen Jump's next big hit.
My Hero Academia has done the exact opposite, and if anything, its popularity is only growing even after its ending. My Hero Academia Season 8 marks the official end of the story. However, for Izuku, this isn't the end. There is potential for more projects to follow in the years to come.
While this might be a sad ending moment for all fans of the series, it must be remembered that there is still time for Horikoshi to get involved with new projects and bring smiles to the faces of the fans once again.
My Hero Academia Has Officially Wrapped Up Season 8
- MHA Season 8 Episode 11 Is The Last Episode Of The Anime
- New Anime Content Will Eventually Follow
My Hero Academia Season 8 was the shortest season that the anime series has ever had. With just 11 episodes, the series delivered very little content to the fans. My Hero Academia Season 8 solely focused on the conclusion of the Final War Arc, which meant that the big battles against the likes of Shigaraki and All For One were finally covered. It also concluded Izuku's journey to become the Greatest Hero and it was something that fans certainly enjoyed to the absolute fullest.
People are not born equal. We each take shape differently, which leads us to care about others. It's because one's mind and body are unlike anyone else's that we're drawn to others in search of common ground. This is the truth about society that I learned when I was 17. — Izuku Midoriya, My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia Season 8 also gave the fans the epilogue arc of the series, and quite a lot of attention was given to the cast, with most of their stories being wrapped up by the author in a fitting way.
At the end of My Hero Academia and following the 8-year timeskip, Izuku was awarded a Hero suit, which then allowed him to become a Hero once again, after many years, and do what he did best, that is, saving lives and bringing smiles to the faces of everyone. With Deku and his friends setting out as Heroes once again, My Hero Academia finally concluded. However, this isn't the end for Izuku at all. Fans should keep in mind that there are many projects that still remain to be animated.
New My Hero Academia Projects Will Follow Izuku Midoriya
The first and most important project that fans know will be adapted eventually is My Hero Academia chapter 431. This chapter puts a lot of focus on Izuku and his friends, and at the same time, it also gives the much-needed attention to the romance between Izuku and Ochaco.
These two were not able to get the ending that they deserved in the main manga, which is why Horikoshi released chapter 431 with the volume release of the series, bringing their story to a conclusion. This chapter still remains to be animated, which means Deku's journey will continue.
My Hero Academia: Izuku Midoriya's New Power Has Officially Been Revealed By Kohei Horikoshi
Deku has a brand new power in MHA, as revealed by the creator Horikoshi.
I'd be lying if I claimed I didn't miss it all. But as long as I can still inspire and encourage others, then I'd still say that this is the tale of how we became great Heroes. All of us, for all this time...this is the tale of how we'll keep reaching out to help for all time. — Izuku Midoriya at the end of My Hero Academia Chapter 430
At the same time, fans know that Horikoshi also did a one-shot chapter which featured multiple characters, including Eri. Izuku Midoriya was featured in this oneshot as well, and it was revealed here that he was now actually the new Number Four Hero in Japan. This is another project that needs to be animated still and fans are eagerly looking forward to it.
My Hero Academia Could Get A New Movie
Most importantly, My Hero Academia will most likely get more animated projects in the form of movies in the future surrounding Izuku and his Hero friends. This is simply because fans know that Horikoshi often works together with the anime staff at Studio Bones to deliver movies.
Much of the content featured in the My Hero Academia movies can be considered semi-canon by the fans and this is because of Horikoshi's deep involvement in them. In fact, My Hero Academia movies have also featured the initial ending that Horikoshi had planned for his series. As such, it is a known fact that Horikoshi's involvement with My Hero Academia movies is very high.
Studio Bones is most likely going to do a My Hero Academia movie at some point, and Horikoshi's involvement with them will be greater than ever before due to the manga not burdening him at the moment. No matter which way fans look at it, Izuku's journey in My Hero Academia looks set to continue.
My Hero Academia is a story of Heroes in a world where special powers, called Quirks, are bestowed upon people at birth. In a world where Heroes and villains fight, Deku aims to become the greatest Hero of all time like his idol, All Might. The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. My Hero Academia is also airing its final season, which will consist of 11 episodes in total. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
