Bakugo is a character who might've seemed one-dimensional at the start of My Hero Academia, but really grew and evolved as the series went on. This incredible character growth made him a fan favorite who now stands as one of the series' most popular characters.
Bakugo has had a lot of great moments to go with some bad ones. While his first few impressions weren't great, he ended up having some of the most memorable moments in My Hero Academia. These will always stand out as his most incredible feats in the series.
Winning the Sports Festival
The U.A. Sports Festival Arc did a great job of showcasing what the main cast can do, with characters like Deku, Uraraka, Shoto, and Bakugo benefiting from the arc. Bakugo was the one who came out looking the best, hands down.
He constantly showed off creative ways to use his quirk, indicating just how advanced he was with using his ability at the time. He ended up winning the event by beating out Shotoi after figuring out his weakness. While he still wasn't happy with the result, this was one of the earliest signs of Bakugo's incredible potential.
Coming up Big Against Class 1-B
The Joint Training Arc showed us plenty of what both Class 1-A and Class 1-B had to offer. Aside from once again showcasing his strength, Bakugo's skills as a leader and teammate are what shone here.
Bakugo completely went against what the perception of him was at the time, by crafting a plan that put himself, Jiro, Sero, and Sato in a great position to overcome the opposing Class 1-B team. Not only was this another great showing of Bakugo's skills with his quirk, but it also showed us how much he'd grown throughout the series.
Taking on Villains During The U.S.J. Incident
The villains' attack on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint happens relatively early in the series, with many in Class 1-A not having much experience to lean on when facing a terrifyingly real threat. Plenty of students stepped up, with Bakugo throwing himself straight into the heart of the conflict.
Despite not having the strength or know-how to take on Kurogiri, Bakugo and Eijiro are transported and ambushed by multiple villains. Despite their youth and inexperience, the duo are able to take care of business, with Bakugo outclassing the older, more experienced villains with ease.
Leading the Charge to Bring Deku Back
This is another great moment that shows how Bakugo both got stronger and matured as the series went on. While all of Class 1-A set out to bring Deku back to U.A. During the Dark Hero Arc, Bakugo is right there leading the charge.
Thanks to their combined efforts, the group is able to wear Deku out and get through to him. Bakugo was able to show off just how strong he'd gotten during the fight, while also putting his strategic skills to the test. The whole ordeal not only cemented Bakugo as one of Class 1-A's top fighters but also showed off his incredible growth.
Using One For All
Though it didn't happen in the series, Bakugo did briefly make use of One For All during the Heroes Risingmovie. During the battle with Nine, Deku shared his ability with his childhood friend, giving Bakugo a massive boost in power.
The result was the two of them combining for a devastating attack. Though it was only temporary, Bakugo was at his absolute best here, and it was awesome to see him and Deku make use of One For All.
Protecting Deku From Shigaraki
The battle against Shigaraki during the Jaku Hospital Raid took its toll on many heroes, Deku and Bakugo included. We saw both Deku and Bakugo hold their own in this fight, but Bakugo's best moment came when he saved Deku from Shigaraki's potentially lethal attack during the encounter.
Bakugo is impaled and pretty badly injured, but with how tough he is, he still manages to make it through. Not only did he tank the attack and make a full recovery, but his selflessness showed just how great a hero he'd become.
Taking Down All For One
Not many people expected it would be Bakugo who would go on to take out My Hero Academia's big bad, but he did. While it became clear that Deku and Shigaraki's fates were tied, Bakugo ended up taking on All For One and finally ridding the world of the evil menace.
Not only had he just come back from the brink of death, but the already tired and battered Bakugo ended up doing what countless heroes before him, including his idol All Might, had failed to do. It's a satisfying end for All For One, and a very well-earned victory for Bakugo.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the "One-For-All" quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
