Summary

  • According to a leak, Ranked Mode could be coming to MultiVersus on August 1, introducing a competitive experience for players.
  • With ranks like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and more, MultiVersus Ranked Mode will offer a progression system to showcase skill.

A new MultiVersus leak has revealed that Ranked Mode might finally be coming to the game on August 1. MultiVersus has a variety of modes that players can join, such as the all-new Rifts, a PvE mode with themed battles and challenges. But despite the variety, one absence is still felt by MultiVersus players.

This absence is Ranked Mode, MultiVersus' competitive experience. Originally available during the game's beta, MultiVersus' return didn't include Ranked Mode even though it was highly anticipated by players, which disappointed the community. MultiVersus has subsequently revealed that it is working on Ranked Mode, although, without further information, leaving players once again anxiously awaiting any news. Now, to the delight of MultiVersus players, a new leak has brought exciting information about Ranked Mode.

A new leak from Twitter user Shaggy_Leaks has revealed that MultiVersus could be adding Ranked Mode on August 1. According to the leaker, while Ranked Mode will start in August, the scheduled end date is October 1, presumably when the season reset will happen. To play MultiVersus Ranked Mode, players will need to reach a specific level, which hasn't been revealed. It's worth remembering that Ranked Mode in the MultiVersus beta was unlocked upon reaching level 20. The leak shared by Shaggy_Leaks also explained how MultiVersus Ranked Mode will work, revealing the existence of the ranks Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grand Master.

MultiVersus Leaked Ranked Mode Release Date

  • Start date: August 1
  • End date: October 1

Explaining further, they reveal that in Bronze and Silver, it will be necessary to earn 10 stars to move up a division by winning MultiVersus matches, while losses will subtract one star. From Gold and above, players who play the MultiVersus Ranked Mode will gain or lose RP by winning or losing matches. Gold stars will be awarded when the player wins a certain number of matches, which the leak predicts will be five. At the moment, there are two known rewards for Ranked Mode: ringouts reflecting the player's rank and badges to display rank and division.

The absence of Ranked Mode has so far deprived MultiVersus players of a way to measure their skills, and of an experience typical of competitive games. Leaks must be taken with a pinch of salt, as dates and details are always subject to change. But despite that, the new round of information shows that MultiVersus continues actively working on updates, seeking to deliver an increasingly satisfying experience while addressing the feedback given by its community.
