Summary
- MrBeast jokingly requested a new skin from Fortnite, which could become a reality.
- The game has collaborated with celebrities, making Fortnite a hub for real-world personalities.
- Fortnite's Icon-Series cosmetics focus on real-world celebrities.
MrBeast has asked Fortnite for another skin of himself in a seemingly joking manner, but Epic Games tends to have a sense of humor, so it wouldn't come as a surprise if it went through with the request. Fortnite is set on a fictional island that has been able to bring characters together from several universes. Although the game has brought many unlikely franchises together under the same roof, fictional characters aren't the only ones that have made it into Fortnite.
Fortnite has collaborated with several celebrities and known personalities over the years. Not only for events and special cups, but to create cosmetic items and bring fans' favorite real-world personalities to Fortnite. Whenever streamers, YouTubers, and artists make their way into the game, their cosmetics are added as part of Fortnite's unique Icon-Series. In this series, gamers will find big names in the virtual world, such as NickEh30, Ninja, SypherPK, and MrBeast.
Who Is The Queen Of Fortnite?
The Queen of Fortnite has risen in popularity in recent years, but who exactly is Whitney Singleton, and why is she so popular?
When the first MrBeast cosmetics became available in Fortnite, they were a big hit, as Jimmy is a beloved YouTuber who is quite popular among this part of the gaming community. Given the positive reception of these first skins, many gamers will be happy to know that MrBeast has mentioned Fortnite on Twitter and requested "a hood MrBeast skin." Even though the tweet had a humorous connotation, Epic Games could very well go along with Jimmy's joke and make it happen.
MrBeast Requests a New Fortnite Skin
The first two MrBeast skins were released on December 15, 2022 - over two years ago - so many fans will agree that it's about time Epic Games comes up with more Icon-Series cosmetics for the world's youngest self-made billionaire. Gamers shouldn't expect any news on a collab skin anytime soon, as it takes time for Epic to come up with its ideas. However, MrBeast's tweet could also be a sneaky, Epic-approved teaser for an upcoming skin that could be released in the near future.
The Fortnite Item Shop refreshes daily, but items tend to stick around for at least a couple of days. Gamers should keep an eye on what's in rotation in the shop to make sure they don't miss the next MrBeast cosmetic if it ever arrives, but they can also be certain that it shouldn't leave the shop immediately. Additionally, thanks to new Item Shop policies, every item that enters the shop must have information on when it's scheduled to leave, so fans never feel pressure to buy V-Bucks and acquire it in fear of it being removed.
