This article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a powerhouse anime that is second to none in the action genre. It never fails to impress fans with high-octane fights where talented sorcerers unleash their overpowered cursed techniques. From Gojo Satoru’s Limitless to Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows Technique, JJK has no shortage of strong characters and CTs.
With the release of JJK Season 3, fans are signed up for action-packed episodes courtesy of Jujutsu sorcerers and their overpowered cursed techniques. While the Disaster Curses dominated season 2 with their cursed techniques, the third season welcomes old and new sorcerers whose cursed techniques are just as powerful, if not stronger, than anything seen before.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Why Season 3 Will Have The Biggest Fights Yet
How is Jujutsu Kaisen aiming to go bigger than the Shibuya Incident? Only a huge battle royale set across the country, of course.
11 Yuta Okkotsu's Copy Can Replicate Any Cursed Technique
Copying another character’s ability is one of the most common but powerful techniques in anime and manga. Gege Akutami blessed Yuta Okkotsu with the Copy technique, but its mechanics are far different from other applications.
While most anime characters can activate their copying technique by simply watching their opponents in action, Yuta’s innate technique requires Rika as the medium to replicate cursed techniques.
Once Rika consumes a sorcerer's body part, Yuta can manifest that sorcerer’s cursed technique. Regardless of whether it's Cursed Speech, Sky Manipulation, or even Limitless, Yuta can wield these abilities with his Copy.
10 Kenjaku’s Cursed Spirit Manipulation
While Sung Jinwoo of Solo Leveling can command an army of shadows, Kenjaku can command an army of cursed spirits in Jujutsu Kaisen, thanks to Suguru Geto’s cursed technique, Cursed Spirit Manipulation.
This cursed technique is so overpowered that it continues to grow stronger as long as the user is alive. Basically, the more cursed spirits Kenjaku has at his disposal, the more powerful he becomes. Not only does he have a wide variety of attack patterns to use, but he can also combine these cursed spirits to unleash a decisive attack.
9 Takaba’s Comedian Can Bend Reality
At first glance, Takaba Fumihiko looks like a deranged jujutsu sorcerer with weak abilities. Don’t be fooled by his unique looks, as he has an overpowered cursed technique that even Kenjaku couldn’t help but acknowledge.
With Comedian, Takaba can bend reality itself by thinking about something funny and by being confident in himself. As long as he remains confident and can maintain his humor, he can conjure up anything. Plus, he can also heal himself! If Takaba had dark humor, he would certainly become a tough villain to deal with.
8 Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows Technique
The Ten Shadows Technique is unique to the Zenin Clan, with Megumi Fushiguro as the current user in JJK Season 3. With this inherited technique, he can summon shikigami of different kinds, from Nue and Divine Dogs to the Divine General Mahoraga, who are perfect weapons in battle.
The strongest of the ten shadows is Mahoraga, which Megumi has failed to tame in JJK. Even so, simply calling an untamed Mahoraga on the battlefield is enough to turn the fight around with its adaptation ability. It is a double-edged sword, but in the hands of a skilled sorcerer like Sukuna, Mahoraga could become a nearly unstoppable force.
7 Yorozu’s Construction
In a nutshell, construction is a cursed technique that allows Yorozu to create something from nothing. She has the same cursed technique as Mai Zenin, but the biggest difference is the amount of their cursed energy. Unlike Mai, Yorozu boasts immense cursed energy, which allows her to use Construction repeatedly without draining herself.
Yorozu’s construction technique is far superior to Mai's, which means she has greater versatility and destructive potential. She can even challenge Sukuna with her solid constructs, such as liquid metal, which she then uses to conjure insect wings and armor. Of all her constructs, her perfect sphere is the one to look out for the most.
6 Yuki Tsukumo’s Star Rage Can Create Black Holes
Star Rage, otherwise known as Bom-Ba-Ye, is a cursed technique exclusive to Yuki Tsukumo, who fans know is a special grade sorcerer. With Star Rage, Yuki can add virtual mass not only to herself but also to her shikigami, Garuda, enhancing their strength and destructive potential. Most likely, receiving a direct hit from Yuki’s punches is like being crushed more times than the human body could endure.
What’s more, Star Rage also makes Yuki Tsukumo a walking black hole. Her innate technique allows her to transform into a black hole with the potential to destroy an entire planet.
5 Kashimo’s Mythical Beast Amber
Hajime Kashimo is one of the strongest ancient sorcerers participating in the Culling Game. His pastime is fighting the strongest sorcerers, relishing battles that push his body and abilities to their absolute limits. Other than that, the God of Lightning has no interest in the weak and boring.
Kashimo’s cursed technique, Mythical Beast Amber, is a one-time ability of immense destructive potential. It is a double-edged sword, as the CT only allows Kashimo to unleash its full power once, leaving him vulnerable afterward. However, when activated, Kashimo can manifest all kinds of electricity-related phenomena, from thunderous roars to electromagnetic waves to lightning discharge.

3 Uro Takako’s Sky Manipulation
Fighting with someone who can manipulate space is no easy task, and Yuta Okkotsu has experienced such difficulty when he fought against Uro Takako during the Culling Games. Takako’s cursed technique, Sky Manipulation, grants her the ability to control and distort the sky, bending distance and direction to strike opponents and defend herself from their attacks.
This technique easily makes Takako a versatile fighter, blending offense and defense seamlessly. This technique also allows her to rain projectiles like shards of thin ice from the sky, striking opponents from above while maintaining perfect control of the battlefield.
2 Angel's Technique Extinguishment
The Angel has a crucial role in unsealing Gojo Satoru in JJK Season 3 due to her cursed technique called "Technique Extinguishment." As the name implies, Angel’s cursed technique can negate, void, and nullify all kinds of cursed techniques, be they inherited, innate, or even barriers.
The cursed technique’s effects work just like the Black Rope and the Inverted Spear of Heaven, two of the special grade tools in the series. Without Angel, it would have been more difficult to release Gojo from the Prison Realm.
