Last week, NetherRealm Studios gave fans their very first look at Mortal Kombat 11's next DLC character, the Joker, in action by way of a hyper-violent gameplay trailer. While indeed there was quite a lot to digest in this Mortal Kombat 11 Joker gameplay trailer, one thing was made perfectly clear: the Joker has quite a number of props at his disposal in MK11. Now, this idea has been demonstrated once again with the reveal of four Joker Brutalities, all of which see the DC villain reach into his bag of deadly tricks.
These Mortal Kombat 11 Joker Brutalities can be seen collected in the video below, and the first is perhaps the standout of the bunch. In it, the Joker seemingly douses himself in gasoline and then goes on to hug an opponent that is engulfed in flames. While some fans might expect that this act would cause the Joker to ignite as well, the flame is actually extinguished by his embrace, and the defeated foe is left as a charred mass of disgusting flesh.
From there, the video goes into two very straightforward Brutalities from the forthcoming Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character. The first of these appears to be the Joker's variant of the Klassic Brutality that all of the characters on the roster have access to, and it sees the psychopathic clown use a paddle to decapitate his adversary. The second brings back a delightfully deadly puppet, which was seen previously in the aforementioned gameplay trailer, and the Joker uses it to quickly fire a bullet directly into his opponent's face.
This puppet makes an appearance once again for the final MK11 Brutality collected here, but the finisher is more elaborate this time around. More specifically, something like a firework shoots from the puppet in this Brutality, and it ultimately ends up lodged in the mouth of the unsuspecting enemy. Then, as the opponent falls to their knees, the firework explodes, completely annihilating the fighter's head in the process.
With the Joker's Mortal Kombat 11 release date less than one week away, fans do not have to wait much longer before they can experience his unique combat style and these Brutalities first hand. Until then, though, a Joker Kombat Kast is scheduled for today, January 23, at 3pm CST, and it promises to dive extremely deeply into this new MK11 DLC character, and perhaps even more Brutalities will be revealed then as well.
Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
