The marketing campaign for Moon Knight, the highly-anticipated new Disney Plus series from Marvel Studios, has steadily increased its output during the lead-up to its release. Now, a new clip released by Marvel gives viewers another peek at this series, showcasing Oscar Isaac's introduction to the terrifying Egyptian god Khonshu.

Moon Knight, a series created by Fantastic Four (2015) screenwriter Jeremy Slater, is the sixth Marvel Studios series produced for Disney Plus behind Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If...?, and Hawkeye. In addition to Isaac, the series features Ethan Hawke as villainous cult leader Arthur Harrow as well as May Calamawy, Lucy Thackery, late French actor Gaspard Ulliel, and F. Murray Abraham as the voice of Khonshu.

The clip shows a scene in an apartment elevator where Isaac's Steven Grant encounters Khonshu for the first time. The scene gives viewers a good look at the monstrous god, while also teasing Grant's mental state, as his interaction with another apartment resident hints to viewers that Grant may be imagining the creature. The clip is short but sweet, and it's indicative of what viewers can expect from the series.

Marvel Studio has kept busy working on a slew of new Disney Plus series that will be released throughout 2022. Ms. Marvel, which recently released a trailer of its own, will directly follow Moon Knight by releasing this June. Furthermore, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Echo, and Ironheart are just a handful of the series in development at Marvel Studios for release on Disney Plus in due time. Of course, big Marvel Studios movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are also being released in theaters later this year.

Moon Knight is one of the most exciting Marvel Studios projects in recent memory (for film or for television), both as a series with an unreliable, psychologically-affected protagonist as well as a superhero tale expressing a darker take on vigilantism. With strong actors like Isaac and Hawke, and with a stunning, dark atmosphere like the one seen in this brand-new clip, Marvel fans can rest assured knowing that this story and its fan-favorite anti-hero are all in capable hands.

Moon Knight launches on Disney Plus on March 30th, 2022.
