The Challenger Charm is one of the many possible staples for the majority of endgame builds in Monster Hunter World. It's a slot-efficient source of two of the most sought-after DPS skills in the game, making it a very valuable item to have.
Monster Hunter World: Where to Get Inferno Sacs

Crafting the base form of this charm isn't too difficult, but upgrading it for maximum potency is a different story. Here's how to make this essential charm in Monster Hunter World, including all the monsters you need to hunt for it.

The first two Challenger Charms can be crafted relatively early on in High Rank. Getting the Nergigante Gems is going to be the hardest part of this, as they are fairly rare drops. Take Investigation missions for a higher chance of getting Nergigante Gems.
As for upgrades III-V, you'll need to own the Iceborne expansion. The majority of the materials needed here only drop from Master Rank variants of the monsters listed above, and they're usually found only in the Guiding Lands (GL). Either find them there naturally or take on specific quests and farm them from there. Such quests include:
- Achy Brachy Heart (Raging Brachydios)
- Ode to the Destruction (Ruiner Nergigante)
- The Cold Never Bothered Me (Lunastra)
The Challenger Charm grants the Agitator skill, which provides bonuses to your Attack and Affinity stats. Challenger Charm V alone is enough to give you Agitator +5, which gives +20 Attack and +20% Affinity. Wearing this charm greatly opens up your options for buildcrafting, freeing several slots for skill gems on your equipment and giving you more freedom to choose which armor pieces to wear.
If you want to get two extra skill points for Agitator, you'll need the Agitator Secret set bonus from the Brachydios, Raging Brachydios, and Resident Evil 2 collab armor sets (Claire and Leon Alpha armor). This gives you +4 Attack and +5% Affinity per level.
