Within the molten realm of the Oilwell Basin, the natives revolve around their mining expertise. Festival Shares Explained and How to Use Them

Monster Hunter Wilds-2025_04_18-21_23_34

Festival Shares are a service provided at the Smelting Foundry in the Oilwell Basin. It serves similarly to the Item Retrieval system from other vendors throughout the game that reward exclusive items for gear, but this specifically focuses on rare mining materials. As time passes in the game, the vendor at the Smelting Foundry will slowly obtain more ores for you to claim. You will be notified once their shares are full, but can also claim rewards in the middle of their progress filling their shares.

As you claim the shares from the Smelting Foundry, there are four different types of ores that can be obtained through the Festival Shares. They are:

  • Drearisite
  • Specklite
  • Argecite
  • Oricalcite

Each one of these ores can be specifically used to upgrade Artian Weapons. These weapons are easily some of the most potent weapons a hunter could use, with you being able to forge them to your liking so they can meet whatever needs you may have for your build. An integral part to forging the best Artian Weapon is upgrading them so they can get the best upgrade skills. This is where these ores come in to play, as they are the main resource required to increase an Artian Weapon's level. If you choose to invest in these weapons, upgrading them will be done numerous times. This is because the skills gained by upgrading them are given at chance, and you may need to make several versions of these weapons before you get your desired set of skills. Therefore, having as many of these ores as possible is integral to making them the best they can be. Continuously visiting the Festival Shares tab is the easiest way to passively get these materials as you go on new hunts.
