Many players agreed, stating that Capcom could have made things clearer for people trying to play with friends in Monster Hunter Wilds. Others were quick to jump in with helpful tips, explaining the difference between the various options. One person noted that Link Parties function like groups in many other games. When in a Link Party, gamers can jump into one another's quests without sending up SOS Flares, as everyone is automatically invited. Squads, on the other hand, function like guilds in a lot of MMO titles. Players can use Squads as a way to chat, share progress, and generally experience camaraderie without being in a link party limited to four players.
