During the Capcom Spotlight stream, devs shared a new video highlighting a range of experiences that players may encounter in Iceshard Cliffs, one of the areas situated in Monster Hunter Wilds's Forbidden Lands. The clip features the Hunter, the game's protagonist, as well as other characters including, Alma, Gemma, Palico, and Nata, as they make their way through a blizzard. It shows the player character facing different kinds of monsters, such as the Arkveld, scattered across the game's diverse world. Moreover, the buzzing Base Camp settlement and the cooking aspect in the new Monster Hunter title also make an appearance. The various pre-order bonuses for players, such as the Guild Knight Set and the Hope Charm, are also shown in the action-heavy trailer.

Monster Hunter Wilds Trailer Comes Right Ahead of its Next Open Beta

The latest look at the forthcoming Monster Hunter game is understandably aimed at boosting interest among fans right before another open beta taking place from February 6 to February 9 and then again from February 13 to February 16. Given the remarkably strong response to the previous open beta in October 2024, in which over 460,000 concurrent players joined on Steam alone, its second phase looks bound to bring similar levels of engagement from Monster Hunter fans.

Apart from the fresh glimpses shown in the new trailer, Capcom recently revealed some key information for PC gamers looking to play Monster Hunter Wilds later this month. From running the game with modest settings to unleashing the Monster Hunter Wilds experience in its full 4K glory, the newly released official system requirements offer the players a better idea about the kind of performance they can expect on their PC.
