New events are always popping up in Monster Hunter Wilds, and the best events reward players with special materials used to craft cool gear like the Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf. These events are only available for a limited time, so you'll need to act fast unless you want to be the only one in the Grand Hub without the outfits that everyone's farming for.
The Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf is one of these limited-time Monster Hunter Wilds event rewards, but thankfully, the event quest isn't that hard. Even though there's only a brief window to claim the scarf, it shouldn't take too long to unlock it.

How to Unlock Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf in Monster Hunter Wilds
Like most of the coolest gear in Monster Hunter Wilds, the Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf is an event quest reward that is only available for a limited time. The materials required to craft the Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf are obtained by completing the Running Wild event quest, which runs from May 20, 2025, through June 3, 2025, in Monster Hunter Wilds.
This quest pits players against a Guardian Fulgur Anjanath, which isn't that tough of a target for high-rank hunters with endgame builds. You have to be at least HR 21 to accept this quest in the first place, and you should be pretty geared up by that point in the game.
Running Wild is only a five-star difficulty quest, and you only have to run through it once or twice to get the necessary amount of materials to craft the Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf at the smithy. Using a Lucky Voucher to get bonus quest rewards is a good idea if you don't want to grind that much for the Sealed Dragon Cloth materials required to craft the scarf. Its stats aren't that great, but it's really meant as a cosmetic piece that you can equip as layered armor over your real equipment.
If you miss out on the Sealed Dragon Cloth Scarf event quest in Monster Hunter Wilds, then there's no need to worry. Event quests come back all the time, usually during seasonal Festivals of Accord in the Grand Hub social space. These seasonal events add new quests to the game while also bringing back the most popular event quests from the past. Keep an eye on the Monster Hunter Wilds event schedule to see when the Running Wild event quest will make its next appearance.
