Typically, Monster Hunter Wilds players have to equip a certain decoration or some other type of equipment to permanently increase their stats, like attack and defense, but there are actually two key items that, by simply having in your inventory, will increase your stats.
Enter the
Powercharm and the
Armorcharm. These items cannot be crafted but can be easily obtained later on in the story by completing two specific Optional Quests. This Monster Hunter Wilds guide will show you exactly how to get the Armorcharm and Powercharm.

How to Get the Powercharm and Armorcharm in Monster Hunter Wilds
Two Hunting Quests
Before you can get your hands on both charms, you will first have to roll credits in Monster Hunter Wilds. Don't fret! It actually doesn't take that long to see the credits and unlock High Rank (around 10-15 hours).
Once you unlock High Rank, your Hunter Rank cap will start to increase and get uncapped. The two Optional Quests that you'll need to complete to get the charms are...
-
Secure Wounded Hollow - HR16 Requirement
- Hunt two Hirabami
-
As Gatekeeper - HR 21 Requirement
- Hunt two Ajarakans
To find Optional Quests in Monster Hunter Wilds, speak to Alma or enter the quest menu from your Tent. If you don't see the charms in your inventory after completing the quests, make sure to check out your storage box.
Armorcharm and Powercharm Stat Boosts
Pump it Up
Having the Armorcharm and Powercharm in your inventory will automatically increase your defense and attack. It seems that the Armor one raises defense by 12 points, and the power one increases attack by 29 points.
