Twisted Stiffbone is a material in Monster Hunter Rise's Sunbreak DLC that is used in the crafting of decorations, weapons, and armor. Twisted Stiffbone also plays a role in performing various weapon upgrades, giving it even more utility. This range of uses means that many players will need to find some amount of Twisted Stiffbone in Monster Hunter Rise during their time with its expansion, and this guide details exactly where they should look for it.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - How to Farm Twisted Stiffbone

Players that are on the hunt for Twisted Stiffbone should turn their attention to the Shrine Ruins on Master Rank. More specifically, fans should target the Bonepiles that appear in Monster Hunter Rise's Shrine Ruins, and six of them have been marked on the map that is below. Additionally, this map showcases an efficient route for moving between these Bonepiles, and players that follow it should amass a stockpile of Twisted Stiffbone in short order.

To note, the contents of a Bonepile will be refilled approximately five minutes after it has been searched. It should thus be possible to loop this Twisted Stiffbone farming route repeatedly, as the first Bonepile should be refilled not long after a player has searched the final one. That said, if a Monster Hunter Rise player finds that this timing is not working for them, and they are being forced to wait for the Bonepiles to repopulate, they may want to consider simply reloading the map.
