The team is amping up excitement for the game with regular updates on social media, whether it is about the new monster hunt footage or interesting features of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Now, Capcom has announced that another Sunbreak digital event is taking place this May and that the team is going to reveal more information about the expansion.The most recent Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event happened last March, and during that livestream, Capcom revealed the expansion's official release date for June 2022. Alongside providing snippets of the new area Elgado, key locale The Citadel, and even the variety of new NPCs the hunter will meet, the team also revealed both new and returning monsters that will appear in Sunbreak. Interested fans can tune in to Monster Hunter's official Twitch channel, but the livestream will likely be broadcasted simultaneously on the series' official Facebook and YouTube platforms as well.

The official post does not share any other details except for the schedule of the digital event. However, the team said that new gameplay info and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak monsters, among other updates, will be shared with the community. Fans are likely hoping that Capcom will announce a new demo so that they can get a small taste of the fight against flagship elder dragon Malzeno, or that more of the player base's favorite monsters will be revealed during the digital event.

Nevertheless, Capcom is likely timing all its Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak activities just right.
