Hunting, harvesting, and crafting are the name of the game in Monster Hunter Rise. Each monster has a custom set modeled after it and players looking for the most efficient Monster Hunter Rise hunts would do well to gather as many resources as possible.
Those looking to craft the Mizutsune set will need to know where and how to harvest bubblefoam to complete the set and select other items. Fortunately, monster-specific sets will most often require players to harvest the necessary parts from the monster in question. In this case, hunting the mighty Mizutsune will reward diligent players with bubblefoam.

Monster Hunter Rise is a game that rewards patience and perseverance. Often it will take multiple hunts to get one crafting component, let alone all those needed to craft an entire set. With hunts taking an average of 20-45 minutes, this can be a significant time sink. But, there are few things as rewarding as completing a set based on a favored monster that has taken hours of blood, sweat, and tears to procure the components.
With the Monster Hunter Rise PC port just around the corner, now is the time for players new to the game or returning Switch hunters to buff up on monsters and their components. The Monster Hunter formula is largely unchanged, but new features like wirebugs help keep the series feeling fresh.
It is likely that Monster Hunter Rise will be one of the biggest titles of 2022 to hit PC. Relatively hot on its heels will be news regarding the anticipated Sunbreak expansion. More info is expected in the Spring of 2022.
Monster Hunter Rise is available now on Switch, with its PC port launching on January 12, 2022.
