Researching endemic life is part of a hunter's responsibility, and in Monster Hunter Wilds, players who are tired of fighting can go and relax by taking a quick fishing trip across the game's many regions. It's not as exciting as fighting a wild animal the size of a school bus, but it's there for anyone who wants a change of pace.

Apart from being generally more relaxing, players who want to get all achievements in MH Wilds will need to know where to get certain types of fish. If you're hunting achievements, or if you just want to scratch all the game's side quests and tasks off your to-do list, here's where you can find every form of aquatic life in the game.

Monster Hunter Wilds: How to Get and Use Wyverian Bloodstones

Here's what you need to know about how to get Wyverian Bloodstones and what to do with them in MH Wilds.

Catching fish in MH Wilds
Monster Hunter Wilds Fishing

Basically, if a body of water has fish swimming in it, it's safe to say that you can cast a line there and wait for something to bite. You can also use your Capture Net to catch anything in the water, but this method does have limitations. If you want to catch all the fish in the game, you'll need to use an actual fishing rod.

If a fish's location is unspecified, it means they can be caught in any fishing spot in that area.
