Monster Hunter World: Iceborne continues releasing content for hunters around the world. Recently the developers added two new creatures to the monster hunting game, and they haven't stopped there. Starting today, Event Quests are live in the game for players to enjoy.
Announced on the Monster Hunter Twitter page, the Event Quests are taking place from March 27, 2020, to April 9, 2020. The Tweet specifically mentions that the additional hunting may be thanks to players being stuck indoors recently, so hunters should be happy for the extra fun to be had.
Capcom's roadmap for Iceborne is detailed and impressive. Fans can continue to look forward to new monsters being added to the game, events, and a title update coming in May. Adding in the Event Quests a bit early is certainly a pleasant surprise for hunters, as COVID-19 has quarantined quite a few players physically, so virtually exploring the lands of Monster Hunter Worlds is a nice getaway.
The Monster Hunter series has always had international appeal, but Monster Hunter World seems to be the franchise's breakout star. As Capcom continues to support the title, fans continue to gobble up the content. Icebourne has now seen over 5 million sales, marking the series as a whole at over 62 million.
