Galactic Treasures
As mentioned above, Galactic Treasure is the newest addition to Monopoly GO, in which players are tasked to find all the hidden treasures across 20 boards. Each board presents varying levels of difficulty. To clear these boards, players must utilize Laser Guns, which function just like Pickaxe tokens, to break the squares within the board.
Needless to say, it takes multiple Laser Guns to clear out a single board, specifically the higher-level ones. However, if players play their cards right, they can save up a lot of tokens and this is where one might think "What's going to happen with the spare tokens that I have?"
What Happens to Extra Laser Guns After the Completion of Galactic Treasures
After the completion of Galactic Treasures, many players are left with extra Laser Guns. Since these surplus guns can't be used to uncover more treasures post-event completion, they are automatically converted into Dice Rolls. Dice Rolls serve as the primary means of advancing further in Monopoly GO.
It is worth mentioning that each Laser Gun will transform into three dice rolls. For example, if the players have 10 Laser Guns in their inventory, they'll get 30 Dice rolls in return. As such, it is important to note that, once you have completed the Galactic Treasures and claimed all rewards, you won't be able to claim any more Tokens, whether from daily wins or tournament/event milestones. Existing milestone rewards in these events will be converted into Cash Prizes instead.
For this reason, it's advisable for players to wait and complete the Galactic Treasures event after they've claimed all the aforementioned rewards.
