What Are Tycoon Cards in Monopoly GO?
Monopoly GO’s newest Tycoon Cards are a unique way to display your achievements and connect with other players. They provide a snapshot of your progress in the game, including your current net worth, board tokens, shield skins, and even your signature dice in Monopoly GO.
Tycoon Cards also show how active you are in the game. You can check a player’s Tycoon Card before adding them as a friend so that you can find reliable partners for cooperative minigames, like Tycoon Racers and Partner Events in Monopoly GO.
Additionally, Tycoon Cards can be shared on social media, which opens the door to connecting with more Monopoly GO players. This can lead to new friendships, friendly competitions, and safe sticker trading.

How To Manage Your Tycoon Card Visibility

- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner to open the menu.
- Next, tap on "Settings."
- Find the "Tycoon Card" button and tap it.
Here, you'll have three options to personalize your Tycoon Card:
- Mutual Friends: Choose whether or not to display mutual friends with other players.
- Activity Highlights: Decide if you want to highlight an activity on your card.
- Friend Requests: Enable or disable the option for other players to send you friend requests through your card.
Once you've made your selections, simply exit the menu, and your changes will be saved.
How To Customize Your Tycoon Card in Monopoly GO
There are a few different ways you can customize your Tycoon Card.
Change Your Avatar
Your avatar is a prominent visual element on your Tycoon Card, representing you to other players. To change it, open up the main menu by tapping the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the screen. Then, select your current avatar or profile picture from the top of the menu. This action will open a new page presenting a variety of pre-set avatars for you to choose from.
If your Monopoly GO account is linked to Facebook, your game avatar will default to your Facebook profile picture. If you were to use a custom image in this scenario, you would generally need to update your profile picture on Facebook itself, and it should then synchronize with Monopoly GO after restarting the app.
Change Your Display Name
Your chosen in-game name is an important identifier on your profile. To modify it, you’ll need to open up the main menu by tapping on the horizontal lines in the top right corner. Then, tap on your current avatar or profile picture at the top of the pop up menu. On the page that appears, you should observe an edit pencil icon positioned next to your current name. Tapping this icon will allow you to type in your desired new name, which you can then confirm to update your Tycoon Card.
Equip Different Tokens, Shields, and Signature Dice
The best part about your Tycoon Card is that it displays all of your rare collectibles to other players. From tokens and shields to the signature dice you equip, all of these can leave a lasting first impression on other players. To change these elements, simply tap on the respective icon (e.g., your current board token) directly on the main game board. This action will open a dedicated menu where you can browse and select from all the different tokens, shields, or signature dice sets you have collected.
How To View Other Players’ Tycoon Cards in Monopoly GO
You can view other players' Tycoon Cards by tapping on their avatar in the game. This can be done in various ways, such as through the friend list, leaderboards, or even during Shutdowns and Bank Heists in Monopoly GO.
Tapping on a player’s avatar will open their Tycoon Card, displaying their net worth, token skins, shield skins, activity level, and other relevant information.
