Your goal in the New Year’s Eve Bash Monopoly GO event is to land your token on the Utility and Tax Tiles. Tycoons will earn four points for each landing on these spaces. With the Deal of the Year tournament active, you'll get points for landing on the Railroad spaces as well.

This might get you through the early milestones, but to hit the bigger rewards, you will want to use the multiplier feature.
