Monopoly GO rolls out special event-specific mini-games every now and then that offer loads of exciting rewards for players to build up their empires. How to Play Galactic Treasures Minigame
The Galactic Treasures mini-game is themed like a space exploration adventure, where players get a ton of rewards for digging up intriguing space rocks and alien tech. Unlike the previous tresure finding mini-games, where Pickaxe tokens were used to dig treasures, players can use otherworldly Laser Guns to uncover squares on a grid and complete milestones to get a ton of valuable rewards this time around.
While it is essentially a game of luck, players should carefully use their Laser Gun tokens and plan out their digging strategy instead of randomly smashing tiles. This Galactic Adventures mini-game started on Feb 23, 2024, and will run until Feb 28, 2024, meaning players have plenty of time to complete all milestones.
As such, they shouldn’t rush through the game and only smash squares with a higher chance of completing shapes. For instance, if there are four tiles shaped like lines in one area of the board and four square-shaped tiles elsewhere, and the player is searching for a circular treasure, there's no point in smashing the line-shaped tiles. Instead, focus on the square-shaped tiles where there's a greater likelihood of finding a circular treasure underneath.
To get more Laser Guns, players should make sure to complete their Quick Wins and collect their daily free gifts. Furthermore, completing tournament and event milestones may also include Laser Gun tokens while the Galactic Treasures is live.
It is important to note that, as players progress, they will need more Laser Guns to find the treasures. As such, they should save up their dice rolls and play their cards very wisely. Also, once they complete the Galactic Treasures, players are rewarded with a Wild Sticker, currently one of the game's most valuable prizes.
