4 Form A Reliable Team

How to Use Friend Codes in Monopoly GO

In the Fantastic Racers event, racing solo is an option, but teaming up with friends or active players gives you more advantage and increases your chances of winning. When you're part of a well-coordinated team, every member’s effort pushes your team to the finish line, helping your race car complete laps faster and grab better lap rewards along the way.

If you want to win the grand prize, you have to play consistently and cooperate with your team. If your real-life friends aren’t playing, you can still find good teammates through Monopoly GO’s active Discord servers, Reddit threads, or Facebook groups. Before adding someone, it’s a good idea to check their Tycoon Cards and have a quick chat with them to confirm they’re as committed as you are.

Even if one player on the team is having a slow day, others can pitch in to close the gap. Doing so keeps your team in the race for first place.

3 Make Smart Choices with Lap Rewards

As your team completes laps in Fantastic Racers, you will unlock a bunch of Lap Rewards. These are mini-milestone prizes that can give you a serious edge in the competition. Each team member gets to choose their own reward, so picking the right one based on your current situation is extremely important. You need to think it through, so don’t just pick randomly.

Lap Rewards include dice rolls and sticker packs, as well as extra flags or boosters. The best rewards are the Special Boosters, like the Overload, which slows down the opposing team's progress.

Another fun booster you can choose from the Lap Rewards is the Team Spring. As your team continues to earn points and progress in the race, Team Spring will charge up. When activated, the entire team receives one free roll with a random multiplier (this multiplier can be quite high, like x10, x20, or even x30). Everyone contributes to charging the Team Spring, and everyone benefits from the free roll. These boosters can truly shift the race in your favor when used wisely.

If your team is falling behind and needs more flags to stay in the race, choosing flags as your reward can give you the boost needed to catch up. However, if you're running low on Monopoly GO dice and can’t keep rolling, picking extra rolls is the smarter option.

2 Play Smart, Not Hard

To win big in Fantastic Racers, don’t try to claim first place in every race. Instead, focus on smart positioning and managing your resources. If you place 1st in the first race, save your dice and flags during the second. A 2nd or 3rd place in the second race will still give you a decent number of medals without draining your resources completely.

The final race is where it counts most. It awards double medals and often determines the overall winner. The best strategy is to go all-in here: use higher dice multipliers, activate boosters like Overload and Team Spring, and spend all of your Flags. By saving your flags, dice, and boosters for the final stretch, you set yourself up for a strong, calculated push when it matters most.

This strategy lets you surge ahead in the last race, increasing your chances of finishing first and claiming the Human Torch Token along with the top rewards. It’s all about playing smart, not hard.

1 Don’t Spend All Your Flags Early

Even though it’s tempting to use all your Flag tokens right away, pacing yourself can lead to better results in the long run. Fantastic Racers is made up of three separate races, and the final race rewards you with double medals, making it the most important one to win. This means every Flag you spend in the last race is twice as effective in boosting your team's rank compared to the first two races.

Even if your team is falling behind in the first two races, a strong performance in the final double-points race can shift you to the top of the leaderboard. On the other hand, blowing all your Flags early and running out for the final race can lead to losing a winning position.

Saving Flags also lets you use them with high multipliers. This way, your race-car gets further on the board with fewer rolls, dramatically increasing your points. It’s best to use them when time is running out, and you need to overtake an opponent.

If you burn through all your Flags during the first day or early races, you’re at risk of running out when it matters most. Without enough Flags for later races, you won’t be able to support your team effectively or compete for top rewards. To implement this strategy, you need to focus on collecting more Flags.

You can get more Flag tokens for Fantastic Racers in the following ways:

Landing on Flag Tiles

Landing on Flag Tiles is one of the best ways to collect Flag Tokens during the Fantastic Racers event. These special tiles are scattered across your Monopoly GO board, and each time you land on one, you’ll earn a Flag Token. Using higher multipliers, like x50, can net you 50 Flag tokens in one go.

Solo Events

Milestone rewards from solo events are another reliable source of Flag Tokens. The higher the milestone you reach, the more Flags you’ll earn. You can earn hundreds of Flags from these solo events alone.

If you want to progress quickly, use higher dice multipliers (like x50 or x100) when approaching the objective tiles. These are usually the Corner tiles, Community Chests, Chance, or Railroads tiles.

Leaderboard Tournaments

Tournaments not only reward top players with a fair sum of Flag tokens but also have plenty of Flags as milestone rewards. Even if you don’t finish in the top ranks, completing these milestones will give you a generous amount of Flag Tokens, plus some extra dice and sticker packs along the way.

Quick Wins

If you’re lagging behind, it’s time to take your Monopoly GO Quick Wins for the week seriously. These simple tasks are refreshed daily and have a couple of Flag Tokens included in the reward. Doing them regularly adds up and helps you stay in the race.

Free Gifts in the Shop

Make it a habit to check the in-game Shop every eight hours. During the Fantastic Racers event, the free gift bundle often includes Flag Tokens. You can set reminders on your phone so you don’t miss out on these low-effort rewards.

Through all of these sources, you'll have a steady supply of Flag Tokens to help push your team closer to the finish line, and hopefully, to first place in the Fantastic Racers minigame in Monopoly GO.
