Infinity Ward has been pretty busy dealing with bugs and glitches since the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare  late last year. While the game released to solid critical and fan acclaim, Modern Warfare  has seen its fair share of issues. However, Infinity Ward has been fairly open about what problems it's working on, and now, players can rest assured that one big issue will soon be solved.

Infinity Ward has launched a publicly-available Trello board detailing which problems the developer is currently working on. The board shows players that issues like player collision are being looked into, as well as several other major bugs that have been hurting online play. However, it appears that slide cancel bug now has a definite fix that will be included in a future update. The change should be a big relief to players, many of whom have had to deal with the issue in online matches.  There's no solid date as to when the fix will be released, though Infinity Ward has been teasing a big update for Modern Warfare It's possible that the change is implemented then.

The bug was originally discovered by pro players and allowed for weapons to be readied much faster than intended. It's relieving to have the slide cancel bug finally be solved, though there are some other changes coming to the game that are equally exciting. The board also has a fix for "various exploits" on Ground War maps in the pipeline. This may mean that Infinity Ward is taking steps to fix Modern Warfare players breaking out of bounds to earn easy kills, which has been a persistent problem in the game.

Infinity Ward's Trello board is a great way to keep the community in the loop. While it doesn't show every issue that the game currently has, it's a solid tool for the community to keep tabs on the behind-the-scenes aspects of Modern Warfare. Not to mention, it should give players a better overall idea of what to expect from Call of Duty  in 2020. With that, fans are also able to provide more feedback for what they deem immediate issues, which should help prioritize what's being solved in-game.

There's still a little way to go before Modern Warfare  is completely stable, but at least fans know which fixes are coming. Infinity Ward being open with the community is a good thing to see. Hopefully, that openness will remain part of the development ideology for years to come. Maybe Infinity Ward will even explain what happened to the Modern Warfare 2  remaster.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare  is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
