Modern Warfare 3's Zombies mode is filled with rare and valuable weapon blueprints and schematics for players to earn. From the Aether Blade Schematic to the VR-11 Wonder Weapon, there are plenty of weapons and items for players to grind on and unlock as they level and progress. However, the grinding process isn’t simple and straightforward, with some missions requiring you to complete multiple quests to get a reward rift.

The Geode MCW Blueprint is among the most challenging items to unlock in MW3 Season 1. It requires players to enter the Dark Aether Rift, a hard-level rift in MW3 that will test any player’s skills. Players who enter the Dark Aetger Rift can find valuable goods such as the Dog Bone Schematic and the Geode MCW blueprint.

How to Get the Secret Geode MCW Blueprint in MW3 Zombies

To unlock the secret Geode MCW Blueprint in MW3 Zombies, players must enter the Elder Dark Aether rift and complete three contracts. However, to do this, players must first complete a series of challenges, as shown below:

Defeat Mega Abomination.
Obtain the Sigil and head to the Dark Aether.
Obtain an Elder Sigil by completing three Dark Aether contracts.
Use the Elder Sigil to access the hard-level Dark Aether rift.
Complete three additional contracts in the Elder Dark Aether Rift to unlock the Geode MCW Blueprint.

To access the rift, you need a Sigil, which you can obtain by defeating Mega Abomination. Once you enter the Dark Aether Rift, you have 30 minutes to complete three contracts - Outlast, Escort, and Aether Extraction. You must complete all three before the timer expires to receive an Elder Sigil. Use the Elder Sigil on a triangular portal to gain access to the hard-level Dark Aether rift.

In this rift, you have 15 minutes to complete three additional contracts and exfil safely. The zombies here are more deadly and require more ammo and the best gear to take down. We recommend using Pack-a-Punch weapons and other overpowered rifles. It’s also advisable to access the Elder Dark Aether with a team so you can divide and conquer. Since the rift has a time cap, you won’t be able to traverse the map and complete all challenges in under 15 minutes.

Once you complete the contracts, you won’t be notified that you’ve earned the Geode WCW Weapon Blueprint. However, you will gain access to it after exfiling.
