Where to Find Legacy Fortress in Modern Warfare 3

Players can find the Legacy Fortress in D2 northwest of Popov Power. The Popov Power is close to the edge of the Orange Zone and spawns in the same location every deployment. So, players don’t have to worry about finding its new location each time they drop in.

The Legacy Fortress sits at the top of a hill overlooking various spawn points on the map. It is a giant castle-like, stone-walled fortress heavily guarded by mercenaries. Once players get close, mercenaries guarding the place will start shooting and attacking. They will also call in an attack helicopter, so players must equip themselves with the best weapons and loadouts to defeat them and get in. We recommend a long-range, high-damage weapon and enough ammo to minimize reload times.

How to Enter Legacy Fortress

Players can’t simply walk into the Legacy Fortress. They need a special keycard to access the stronghold. To acquire the Fortress Keycard, players must infiltrate, clear, and loot a Mercenary Stronghold. Zombies and mercenaries guard Mercenary Strongholds, and players must clear them to obtain loot from the safe. Players have to drill this safe open while defending themselves from zombies to get the keycard.

Once players have obtained the keycard, they must head to the Legacy Fortress, clear the mercenaries, and enter the stronghold. There's also a helicopter that will need to be taken down. In the main building, a swarm of enemies will attack from all over, making it crucial to have powerful Pack-A-Punch weapons and high-level Armor vests.

Players should work their way to the top of the building while taking down mercenaries until they reach the final Legacy Fortress boss. The boss tends to hide behind a small stand. Take cover in the doorway and fire shots each time the boss peeks until they’re defeated. Players who defeat the Legacy Fortress boss will earn a random selection of rewards, including Wonder Weapons and Schematics.
