No, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 campaign early access won’t have the co-op feature, just like previous campaigns such as MW2. Unfortunately, this means that players can’t dive into the title’s story mode with friends or family. The Modern Warfare 3 campaign is designed as an immersive single-player experience. Players can expect to come across various characters, from Ghost, Captain Price, and Makarov to Soap, Alejandro, and Gaz. They can complete various campaign missions and objectives but only play solo from the beginning.

Players should use this as an opportunity to get familiar with the new story mode and the game’s features. This way, once the title launches, they know their way around and can quickly defeat enemies.

How To Play With Friends in Modern Warfare 3?

COD fans who want to play with friends will have to wait for Modern Warfare 3’s official launch on November 10. Once the game launches, users can play with friends by joining crossplay matchmaking. To do this:

  1. Navigate to Account and Settings
  2. Click Activision Account
  3. Select Show Details to find your Activision ID.
  4. Navigate to the Social Menu, and under Activision Friends, use the Activision ID to add and invite friends.
  5. To add a friend, simply enter their Activision ID to send them a request.
  6. Players can also check and accept Friend Requests.

While playing with friends won’t be possible in the Modern Warfare 3 campaign, the feature will be available once the game officially drops. There are many rewards, achievements, and trophies up for grabs and a lot of content to dive into. Friends can build unstoppable teams to take down Zombies, Operators, and ruthless AIs in the battle royale and gain match victories.
