Miraibo GO is an open-world survival crafting game with monster-taming elements. While it hence seems reminiscent of Palworld, it's been in development for years now and appears to be more directly inspired by Pokemon and survival games in the vein of Ark, similar to Palworld itself. Developer DreamCube Studio treated the game to a limited beta test in mid-August 2024.

Miraibo GO Celebrates 400,000 Pre-Registrations With a Release Date Reveal

Six weeks later, the company has now committed to a firm release date for the game, October 10. It did so while noting that over 400,000 people have already pre-registered their interest in the upcoming title since the start of Miraibo GO signups. That figure means the game has already passed two of its previously announced pre-registration milestones, and that anyone who signed up for it will thus receive two gift packs comprising a total of 120 in-game items once it's released.

The initial version of Miraibo GO will include over 100 creatures—called Miras, in the game's jargon—that players will be able to capture. Each Mira comes with its own skills and elemental affinities that inform how it stacks up against other creatures in battle. Aside from capturing and training them, players will also be expected to feed their Miras and socialize with them. They will also be able to assign various tasks to their creatures, ranging from resource scavenging and farming to construction. Miras meant to be used for battle will need to be well-fed and -rested in order to stay in fighting shape.

This monster-taming system is going to be paired with elaborate base-building mechanics and a large open world, which is a combination that makes Miraibo GO seem similar to Palworld. Much like Pocketpair's hit game, Miraibo GO will also feature co-op multiplayer. To that end, it will offer instances called Guild Worlds, which are specifically designed for group experiences and will support up to 24 players at launch. Aside from building bases, training Miras, and surviving in the wilderness, players will also have a chance to take on a variety of bosses, among other activities.

Miraibo GO will be available on iOS and Android devices, as well as PC, from day one. Cross-play support will be part of the package, allowing players to resume their adventures on any supported platform.
