As players head deeper into the Vessel, they'll encounter an obstructed elevator that's been entwined with vines. This is one of the obstacles that will prevent players from accessing different areas of the map, unless they remove the obstruction and free the elevator. This quick guide will help you unlock the obstructed elevator, making it easier for you to travel between different sections of the Vessel.
How To Enter The Metropolis In MIO Memories in Orbit
When going to the Apartments floor for the first time, players may come across a locked door that leads to the Metropolis in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
How to Unlock the Obstructed Elevator in Mio: Memories in Orbit
There's an elevator in Mio: Memories in Orbit that connects the Barn, Aviaries, and the Bell Tower, which is obstructed when you first visit it. Players will need to remove the plants that are obstructing the elevator to make it easier to travel between different levels of the map. Make sure to start from the barn level, marked on the map above, so it's easier for you to follow this guide.
Make sure you have the Harvester and the Hairpin skill unlocked before going further. You'll get the Harvester skill by defeating the Crow Automated Reaper boss, atop the Haven area.
Head to the location marked on the map above. Players will need to make their way through the Haven and the Bell Tower Hall to find the steps that lead up to the area marked above.
Once you arrive at the mentioned area, look up, and you'll spot a grapple point and flowers on a vertical path. You'll need to grapple up and use flowers to regain energy.
Once you reach the top of this path, you'll come across a little robot that's stuck in the bush upside down. Keep heading left and cross the contaminated water area by grappling. Once you reach the other side of the river, hit the flower bud to unblock a path leading downwards.
Keep heading down and make sure to refill your health at the Nacre Basin. Now, you'll enter a mandatory combat encounter room, and you'll need to defeat all the enemies to progress ahead.
After surviving the room full of enemies, you'll need to continue down the path to the left. At the end of this path, you'll spot a grapple point after bouncing off the plant. You'll need to use these to get to the other side of the red bush.
Once you scale over to the other side, simply keep heading left until you reach the vines that are obstructing the elevator in Mio: Memories in Orbit. Simply destroy the flower bud to remove the vines, and you'll unlock the elevator access between Level 0: Barn, and Level 1: Aviaries.
