MIO: Memories in Orbit is a Metroidvania where players take the shoes of MIO, the little robot. The game takes place inside the Vessel, where MIO must save the spaceship and its residents from an upcoming disaster.

MIO will not be alone in her journey, and some figures have been teased as well. For example, Capucine the historian acts as MIO's personal assistant. However, it's currently lost somewhere in the Vessel, and it's up to you to find it. There's also Mel the mechanic. She works in the workshop and will help MIO with the components she needs on her journey. Finally, Shi the overseer is said to have had eyes everywhere on the ark. He can even share his vision with MIO once you restore the nexus.
