Mio: Memories in Orbit will put players inside a labyrinthine ship that slowly opens up to reveal interesting NPCs and hidden secrets. One of the first locked doors you'll encounter in the Severed Spine region requires an Aviaries Passepartout key. This door leads to a new area, and finding its key will require players to battle an early-game boss.
How To Unlock The Map In MIO Memories in Orbit
Unlocking the map in MIO: Memories in Orbit will make exploration far easier in the maze-like vessel.
How to Get the Aviaries Passepartout Key in Mio: Memories in Orbit
To get the Aviaries Passepartout access key in Mio: Memories in Orbit, players will need to unlock the door that requires the Silo Access Badge and enter the Feral Undergrowth area.
Go through the door and keep heading east till you spot a hole in the ground. You'll need to jump down from here to enter the lower sections of the Feral Undergrowth.
You'll need to use the Hairpin ability to thoroughly explore this section and reach the area with the Aviaries Passepartout key. So, keep heading east in this area until you finally arrive in a room with a boss called Flora Sentient Pearltrap.
This isn't really a tough boss, but you'll need to avoid its projectile attacks a lot while targeting its purple goo-covered mouth. It'll mainly attack with its tendrils first, followed by a projectile spit attack.
During its second phase, it'll cover the ground closer to it with slime, making it harder for you to hit its mouth and return to safe footing. You'll need to use the Hairpin on the grapple orb to get close to it, deal a three-hit combo, and double-jump to return to safety.
Once you've defeated the boss, head east over its defeated body, and you'll enter a small cavern behind it. You'll find the Aviaries Passepartout key in Mio: Memories in Orbit right here, over a small platform.
Where to Use the Aviaries Passepartout in Mio: Memories in Orbit
To use the Aviaries Passepartout key, you'll need to return to the Severed Spine area and use the elevator to reach Level 1: The Spine. Make sure to rest at the Attunement Gate before heading up to the Spine to reveal the portion of the map you've explored just now.
Once you reach The Spine, keep heading east till you reach the locked door. Use the Aviaries Passepartout to unlock access to the Aviaries area of the Haven region. You'll also find a Tube here that you can interact with to gain the Dodge ability in Mio: Memories in Orbit.
