With Vibrant Visuals coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Windows, iOS, and Android, players will soon have superb access to new shaders straight from Mojang's own vision, so here's how to turn it on now, for those who have access to Minecraft Bedrock Edition and its Preview mode.

Vibrant Visuals is currently only available in Minecraft Bedrock Edition's Preview version, and will come to Bedrock Edition in the next few months, and is planned for Java Edition support down the line.

How to Activate Vibrant Visuals in Minecraft

In order to activate Vibrant Visuals, players must select the world that they wish to add it to and then hit the Edit button, or create a new world. From the world settings, players will need to scroll down to Experiments, where they will see the Graphics option. With the Graphics option, they can find Vibrant Visuals, which they can turn on just by clicking it. Considering Vibrant Visuals is currently in its testing phase, players will be warned that by activating experiments in Minecraft's Bedrock Edition Preview, they will be unable to turn them off.

What Do Vibrant Visuals Do?

Vibrant Visuals is Mojang's vision for how Minecraft should look in the years to come, with more modern hardware. Vibrant Visuals provides players with improved visual elements expected of modern games, like water shaders, emissive textures, directional lighting, volumetric lighting, and volumetric fog, which all act in harmony to provide more beautiful results when it comes to the shadows aligning with the sun and the water glistening with reflection.

Vibrant Visuals is not an overhaul of gameplay mechanics, meaning that these optional changes are purely cosmetic and will provide players with just further immersive beauty when it comes to worlds, mobs, and items.
