The End in Minecraft is given a makeover thanks to the talents of one player, revamping the look of the deadly dimension. While players often make creations in Minecraft, giving the home of the Ender Dragon a redesign definitely stands out.
Even though Minecraft continues to expand with each new update, some of its most iconic content comes from the earliest days of the game. Specifically, many players have fond memories of their first time going to The End to fight the Ender Dragon. While the location challenges players to take down a dangerous foe while trying not to be swarmed by Endermen, its visuals also help it stand out. Recently, one player was inspired to give part of this dimension a redesign.
Taking to Reddit, a Minecraft builder known as Siggano on the platform showcased their makeover of The End. The player created a minute-long video revealing their transformation of this otherworldly dimension. The clip began with Siggano arriving at the end through a portal, placing them inside a dome-shaped building. They then ascended a flight of stairs revealing their incredible makeover of The End. The build featured the ruined remains of several pillars, along with a detailed path and pond. Furthermore, the middle of the area included a purple, ethereal-looking design that looked like a rift from the portal extending into the sky, which was surrounded by Minecraft's Endermen.
Making this even more impressive was that the creator did the makeover in survival mode. While this makeover of The End would have been noteworthy in creative, having to gather the resources only added to the time commitment Siggano had to put into the build. Fortunately, the effort was well worth it, creating a stunning area and inspiring numerous other builders online.
Since sharing the post to the Minecraft subreddit, the video tour of The End has gained more than 11.2K upvotes. There was no shortage of responses from the community, with many weighing in on Siggano’s transformation of the end in their Minecraft world. While the creator did not reveal the inspiration behind this The End makeover, numerous users thought the build had a distinctive Elden Ring appearance, with some commenting that it looked reminiscent of Siofra River. In addition, Siggano answered others' questions regarding how long it took to build, noting they worked on the project “on and off” for approximately a year.
This latest build from Siggano adds to the list of impressive creations made in the game. Beyond this makeover of The End, other gamers have made noteworthy builds, such as one player that recreated the Earth in survival mode in Minecraft. It will be interesting to see what other creations these builds from gamers like Siggano inspire in the future.
