Minecraft has been out for a while, and many aren't new to it, but there are often big updates that take place to keep the game exciting for all players. In these updates, sometimes new biomes are introduced along with new materials, craftables, and more. Each of the biomes is different and players will explore each one and find materials that differ from other biomes.

One of the biomes is Cherry Grove, which is similar to Peaceful Meadows, but is slightly different and offers some things that Peaceful Meadows cannot. Players often find this area becomes their desired location to set up a base when playing in Survival Mode, as it provides a degree of safety that some other biomes don't, as well as basic materials. It also features a different type of wood, which is pink. This guide will explain how to find Cherry Grove and get Cherry Blossom wood.

Treehouses are just one of the many things players can build in Minecraft, and these are by far the best builds seen so far.

Where To Find The Cherry Grove Biome

For those who don't want to use a specific seed to travel to a Cherry Grove biome, players can also find it on their own by exploring the map's mountainous regions, which is where a Cherry Grove biome is most likely to spawn. Cherry Groves will spawn within the first layer of mountains and not in flat areas. They are often found right next to the snowy mountains, on top of the smaller hills close by.

Players who would rather spawn into Cherry Grove to start making their base or finding materials they need rather than searching for the biome can simply open up their chat with cheats enabled and type in /locate biome cherry_grove, and it will share the location of one within their current world. For players who want a direct seed for their new world, below is one for each console running Bedrock and one for PC's Java.

  • Nintendo Switch - 712262452098460
  • Xbox - -4197599622191908127
  • PlayStation - -5529587571749444419
  • PC/Mac (Java) - 4167799982467607063

Once players get into Cherry Grove, they will be able to find things like Bee Nests with Bees, which can provide honey and other materials, rabbits, pigs, glow squids, and sheep. It is almost the same as the Peaceful Meadow, but some things will be a bit different. For example, pumpkin patches cannot be found, and sugar cane cannot grow in this biome. Also, be mindful that the Cherry Grove biome is built on loose dirt within Minecraft, so be cautious while building a base.

How To Get Cherry Wood

Cherry Grove is found near mountain biomes as mentioned above, offering Pillager Outposts, Falling Pink Petals from the famous Cherry Blossom Trees, and much more . While Cherry Grove is famous for its bright pink, calming environment that provides a welcome reprieve. This is also a rare biome, but it is where players can find the pink cherry blossom trees, and they can then use an axe to mine the wood from these trees. The better the axe, the faster the tree will be cut down. Cherry Blossom Trees produce specific items like Cherry Logs and Cherry Leaves, and Cherry Logs can be used to craft an assortment of items as well as tools that have a pink color in Minecraft.
