Leaf Litter brings a nice spring feel to your Minecraft world. It makes everything look a bit more fresh and lively. But apart from looks, it actually has some uses too. If you don’t know how to find it, this article is here to help.

How to Find Leaf Litter in Minecraft

The Leaf Litter block is found in multiple areas in Minecraft. If you want to get your hands on it, you’ll need to make your way to the Forest, Dark Forest, or Wooded Badlands, where it grows naturally. Once you are there, look around on the ground. Leaf Litter looks like thin, yellow-brown leaves. When players walk over them, they will hear that crunchy leaf sound, just like stepping on real leaves in autumn.

Minecraft fans can grab Leaf Litter with their bare hands or use any basic tool like a Pickaxe. One thing to remember here is that the color of the Leaf Litter changes depending on the biome in which it is found. And, once you collect it, it won’t grow back like grass or leaves.

Another easy way to get Leaf Litter is by smelting regular leaves in a furnace. For this, you will need a fuel source and, of course, a furnace, which you probably already have. If not, you can craft one using eight cobblestones.

Once it’s ready, throw some leaves inside along with a source of fuel to make Leaf Litter. This is a great option if you haven’t made it to the aforementioned biomes yet. Once you have made a Leaf Litter, you can place it on blocks that have solid top surfaces.

Leaf Litter is mainly for decoration. It gives your builds a nice spring vibe. In addition to that, it can also be used as a fuel source. Now, it’s not the best fuel option out there because it only burns for five seconds. Coal, on the other hand, burns for 80 seconds. However, coal isn’t always easy to find. Leaf Litter, on the other hand, is easy to get in large amounts, so it’s still a decent backup option.
