A Minecraft player has built a tower in the likeness of one of the most memorable and significant buildings from the world of Bloodborne. Famous locations from video games have always been popular choices for Minecraft builders to recreate, and the setting of Bloodborne is no exception.

Bloodborne is one of the most celebrated games from developer FromSoftware. One of its defining features is the striking building designs seen in Bloodborne's setting of Yharnam which takes after Gothic and Victorian-era architecture. Bloodborne continues to stay relevant with Minecraft players to this day as demonstrated by a gamer who goes by OmegaKartoffel on Reddit. They built a tower based on the Astral Clocktower, one of the final locations seen in the Bloodborne expansion titled The Old Hunters. This DLC was released in November 2015 and brought players to the Hunter's Nightmare, a cursed realm laden with beasts and hunters that have gone drunk with blood. Reaching the top of the tower will give players the chance to fight the Bloodborne boss Lady Maria, whose animations, dialogue, and cryptic lore have made her one of the most popular bosses in the game.

While not an exact recreation, the resemblance that OmegaKartoffel's tower has to the Astral Clocktower is strong though there is one necessary omission. In Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, players can through the face of the clocktower after defeating Lady Maria. There, they will encounter the Fishing Hamlet, the final area of the DLC. On top of there being plenty of Bloodborne lore and secrets in the Fishing Hamlet, the area itself is massive and placed directly above the Astral Clocktower. This makes it understandable why OmegaKartoffel would have chosen to not include it would require a great deal more effort and space.

Bloodborne's popularity has far from subsided in the nearly eight years since its release, and the popularity of fan creations based on the game is a testament to this adoration. These range from Minecraft recreations of famous areas to a PSX demake of Bloodborne that lets fans go through the game's first few hours as if it were a game on the original PlayStation. With Bloodborne only becoming more popular and FromSoftware continuing to earn acclaim, it is clear that time will not be a barrier to the growth of Bloodborne's legacy.

Bloodborne is available on PS4.
