While your cats are primarily used for battling and breeding in Mewgenics, they do have other uses. In fact, the best way to improve your chances of progressing through the game's acts requires you to send your cats to different NPCs in exchange for rewards. The problem is, the process of doing so can be a little unclear, especially when it comes to selecting who to send a particular cat to. In this guide, I'll explain how to send cats to NPCs in Mewgenics, so you can reap the rewards of befriending the bizarre cast of characters.

Mewgenics is heavily combat-focused, so knowing how to fight is a no-brainer, and this guide will exactly help with that.
How to Send Cats to Different Characters in Mewgenics
Cats can be sent to a character by selecting it when you're at home and dragging it over the top of the green pipe to the left of your home. I've highlighted this in the box in red in the screenshot below.
When you select this, it should bring up the map of NPCs you've unlocked at this stage. To send a cat to one of these, simply click on the character you want to send the cat to and confirm your decision.
Another way to send a cat to a character is to click on them when they're in your home and open the side menu. This shows their stats, abilities, and other information about them. Just below their stats, you'll see a green pipe icon. Click on this and you'll be brought to the same map of NPCs that you can send the cat to.
When viewing the bio of a cat, any characters that would be interested in that particular cat will have their face appear next to the green pipe icon, as shown in the example below. This can be particularly useful for keeping track of which cats can be sent to which characters, as each NPC has their own criteria for kitties they'll take. As your army of cats grows, it can be increasingly difficult to keep track of which ones pass which NPCs requirements, so this is a handy indicator!
Once you've given a cat to an NPC, you'll get a brief cutscene, and you'll be one cat closer to unlocking that NPCs rewards. Continue to give different characters cats, and you'll unlock new upgrades and rewards to help you on your adventure. It's worth noting that once you've given a cat to one of these characters, they'll be gone forever, and you won't be able to battle or breed with them, so make sure they're not one of your very finest.
