The Morph Ball is a suit upgrade in Metroid Prime Remastered that players will obtain after defeating the Plated Beetle in the Chozo Ruins' Ruined Shrine. This iconic upgrade is used to transform Samus into a small sphere, and it allows fans to reach previously-inaccessible areas. However, some players may be unclear about which areas they should be targeting after obtaining the Morph Ball in Metroid Prime Remastered, and this walkthrough is here to shine some light on this matter.

Metroid Prime Remastered: After Morph Ball Walkthrough

Once the Morph Ball has been collected, players should make their way back to the Main Plaza, using their new ability to exit the Ruined Shrine. Upon arriving in the Main Plaza, Metroid fans should make their way to its top-right corner and use a series of platforms and a bridge to reach a door that leads to Ruined Fountain Access. Players will encounter several obstacles as they work through this hallway, and they must use their Morph Ball to get past them.

Fans will now find themselves at the Ruined Fountain, and they should use the platforms on the perimeter to reach the geyser across the room. There is one of Metroid Prime Remastered's Chozo Lore entries on the wall behind this geyser, which players should scan before using the door on the room's left side to enter Arboretum Access. This hallway should be followed all the way to the Arboretum.

In the Arboretum, players should use the platforms to reach the central tree, shooting at the Reaper Vines along the way to cause them to temporarily retract. This series of platforms ultimately leads to two stick platforms, and fans should move left and downward when they reach them to enter Gathering Hall Access.

The Gathering Hall is on the other side of the Gathering Hall Access hallway, and players should head right upon entering it to find a Save Station. Fans should then cross to the other side of the Gathering Hall and use the door that they encounter to enter Watery Hall Access. As players make their way through this hallway, they should stop in the position depicted in the image that is above and fire one of Samus Aran's Missiles at the left wall. This action will reveal a Missile Expansion, which players should collect before entering the Watery Hall.

It is now time for players to scan the runic symbols in Metroid Prime Remastered's Watery Hall in order to lower a gate that is situated in the upper level of the room. The Charge Beam is beyond that gate, and this upgrade gives players the ability to visit entirely new areas. Before fans head off to those areas, they should make sure to scan the Chozo Lore that is on the wall behind the Charge Beam.

Metroid Prime Remastered is available on the Nintendo Switch.
